Role Summary
Rapid Response Monitoring is seeking a Junior Application Developer to join our Syracuse office team. As a Developer, you will assist Rapid's Programming department by leveraging your experience in programming and software design to help develop web and mobile applications for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of full stack web applications utilizing ASP.NET or equivalent framework (C#, Dapper, Angular, HTML5, JavaScript, TypeScript)
- Update existing mobile and web applications
- Aid in the development of applications utilizing Microsoft .NET (C#, Dapper)
- Contribute to the development of applications that interact with databases (MS SQL Server, TSQL, Dapper, ADO.NET)
- Support the design of REST and SOAP based web service APIs
- Collaborate with IT to perform system updates and routine maintenance
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, computer engineering, or a related field of study
- Working or classroom experience building applications using Microsoft .NET and C#
- Working or classroom experience building HTML, CSS, TypeScript based web applications
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products
- Demonstrated ability to creatively analyze problems, and design and implement advanced software solutions
- Must live in or around the Syracuse area to work onsite in our Syracuse location
- Many of our positions require an extra level of screening to obtain Department of Defense security clearance

Preferred Qualifications
- Working or classroom experience building single page web applications (Angular, React, Vue)
- Working or classroom experience developing Android/Apple mobile applications
COVID-19 Requirements
- Must be fully vaccinated: 2 doses of Pfizer/Moderna or 1 dose of Johnson & Johnson, 2 weeks prior or more
- Booster shot is required 2 months after Johnson & Johnson or 5 months after second dose of Pfizer/Moderna
