We are currently looking for a young professional as Client Technical Sales to join our team in The Netherlands, focusing on building solutions in modern hybrid cloud IT environments.



Scope of Role
As Client Technical Sales you will engage with clients, partners & prospects to demonstrate how IBM solutions can support key business challenges and priorities such as; Big Data & Artificial Intelligence (AI ), Hybrid Multi-Cloud Platforms and Modern Data Protection. You will join a close team to work collaboratively with clients & business partners to ensure world class architectures and delivery of solutions to clients .

Responsibilities
  • Be able to present the business and technical value of IBM Systems solutions for IT environments, internally and externally to clients/partners
  • Own the delivery of technical briefings, workshops, proof of concepts, demonstrations for internal and external customers/partners
  • Be a trusted technical expert and consultant that helps to develop and propose solutions that meet the technology and business requirements of clients
  • Successfully build, maintain and extend relationships with (new) partners and (new) clients in support of sales team objectives
  • Enthusiastically engage in (social) awareness efforts around IBM IT solutions with Power Systems and Storage products


Requirements
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent preferably in IT or any other technical field, Masters degree in any domain
  • Experience in a customer facing role is an asset, but not a must
  • A passion for interacting with clients and cultivating long standing relationships
  • Desire to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing, results-driven work environment
  • Can-do, pro-active and responsible work attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English
  • Technical aptitude to IT, specific IT certifications certainly are an asset

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent preferably in IT or any other technical field, Masters Degree in any domain
  • A passion for Sales, Customer Service and relationship building
  • Desire to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing, results-driven work environment
  • Can-do, pro-active and responsible work attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English
  • Technical aptitude to understand the IBM Storage portfolio
  • Experience in customer service/support, consulting, and/or technical pre-sales is an asset, but not a must
  • IBM Storage (or competitive) knowledge and product certifications are positive



Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  • If you have any experience in customer service/support, consulting, and/or technical pre-sales is an asset, but not a must
  • Previous IBM Storage (or competitive) knowledge and product certifications would be great, but it's not a must
