Your Role and Responsibilities

This position will be located in Brunswick County, Georgia. The Senior Learning Application Expert shall have extensive experience formulating/defining system scope and objectives based on user defined needs. The Senior Systems Analyst shall devise or modify procedures to solve problems considering application capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. The candidate shall have full technical knowledge of all phases of applications systems analysis and be able to work onsite as the face to the client on these matters. e.g. performing needs assessment and gap analysis, conducting learning feasibility studies, and verifying/confirming requirements to produce options/recommendations.

Education:
B.A. or B.S. degree, or 5 years of equivalent experience in a related field.

Basic Experience:
5 years of computer experience in at least two of the following disciplines: system analysis, system programming, application programming, and equipment analysis.

Desired Experience:
Knowledge of learning management systems.

Required Professional and Technical Expertise:
  • At least 5 years of computer experience in at least two of the following disciplines: system analysis, system programming, application programming, and equipment analysis.
  • At least 10 years of experience in the functional area of law enforcement training, with an understanding of processes, work flow, tracking, and reporting on training activities.
  • Understand concepts in the eLearning industry such as Blended Classroom, Social Learning, Cognitive Driven Learning, Simulation, Augmented and Virtual Reality Learning, Virtual Classrooms, Game-Based Learning, Mobile Learning Delivery, and Video-Based training.
Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise:
  • Work with training development software applications. E.g. Cornerstone on Demand, Blackboard, Saba, Peoplesoft ELM, Adobe Captivate, Trivantis Lectora.
