Auto req ID: 271447BR Job Description The Logistics Distribution & Transportation Analyst contributes to the success of PepsiCo Beverages North America (PBNA) by procuring carrier capacity, conducting lane analysis, and providing support to the North Division Transport organization involving rate adherence, service, and carrier relationships. This role will work closely with the rest of the North Division Transport team to analyze productivity potential in multiple BU/markets across the North. Role can be located within any of the North Division locations. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Procure carrier capacity to support the North Division Build carrier partnerships to influence rate adherence Optimize the carrier footprint for the North Division Support PBNA operating businesses Assume ownership for financial forecasts and analysis related to the Transportation cost center for carrier activity that directly impact P&L performance for the Division Manage route guide adherence to deliver carrier rate plan Develop effective relationships with carriers to procure Transportation capacity Develop effective relationships with internal customers (i.e. sales, logistics, plant, satellite, warehouses etc.), and external customers (i.e. co-pack partners, third party warehouses, sales order customers etc.) Provide local interface and direction for carriers on issues across multiple sites Provide support to multiple locations on Transportation matters including, but not limited to: identification and achievement of assigned productivity/cost improvement targets; carrier capacity planning; detention reduction Assist in the development of and implementation of transportation programs that provide for continuous improvement Instruct and train all carriers assigned to PepsiCo volume in quality, service, and safety requirements Coach and mentor dotted line peers in Transportation tools and reporting COVID-19 vaccination is a condition of employment for this role. Annual Salary Range: USD 74,242 - USD 88,555 #LI-USA Qualifications/Requirements A Bachelors degree is required Three years of transportation industry experience is required including dealing with legal, regulatory and operational issues, including customer service, logistics, and carrier operations is required Strong analytical and negotiating skills In-depth knowledge of carrier market and capacity (a plus) Ability to influence behavior Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks without losing momentum while completing all daily tasks efficiently and effectively Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, and/or weekends #LI-USA Relocation Eligible: Not Eligible for Relocation Job Type: Regular All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, or disability status.
