Lead Applications Developer UI/UX (Government)

Our Application Development Team supports our clients by, providing, operating and assuring critical services related to Internet of Things for the full spectrum of government and military operations.

AT&T has an opening for a Lead Applications Developer to support clients across Government and Industry byprovidingUI/UX design for Smart Cities, Bases, and Facilities.

**Job Duties/Responsibilities:**

As a Lead Applications Developer for UI/UX Design, you will be responsible for delivering the best application user experience possible. You will be designing interfaces for Internet of Things applications using various methods and the latest technology. You will coordinate efforts of engineers and technical support staff to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty with our AT&T Public Sector customer base.

The Lead Applications Developer for UI/UX design must possess the following abilities:

+ Plan and implement new UI designs

+ Optimize existing user interface designs

+ Test for UI intuitiveness and expected user experience

+ Communicate with clients and internal partners to understand their business goals and objectives

+ Develop technical and business requirements to deliver intuitive and user-centered designs

+ Combine creativity with an awareness of the design elements

+ Create prototypes for new product ideas and existing product enhancements

+ Test new ideas before implementing

+ Research and integrate the most modern industry UI/UX principals

+ Ability to work independently, take on commitments, communicate and cooperate to resolve issues and work collaboratively in a fast-paced agile environment

+ Excellent written and oral communications are required to interface with industry partners and customers

**Required Clearance:**

US Citizenship is required, however ability to be cleared up to the Top Secret level is desirable.

**Required Qualifications:**

The candidate must have a BS in Computer Science (or a related field) and engineering experience focused on UI/UX design with 7+ years experience, or 10+ years of demonstrated experience in lieu of BS degree. Required language skills include CSS3, HTML5, and AngularJS. Skills with UI design tools such as Adobe, Sketch, Zeplin, Invision, or similar is also required.

**Desired Qualifications:**

Experience and willingness to provide presentations and demonstrations to customers and senior leadership is a plus. Willingness to occasionally travel (Approximately 10%)

Additional experience with Javascript, Node.js, RESTful APIs, Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus. Familiarity with Internet of Things concepts and technology is also a plus.
