**Principal - Financial & Business Ops**
This opportunity is perfect for you, if you are interested in not only gathering and analyzing data but telling the story behind the numbers to help drive business decisions. In this position you would be involved in financial management, developing models, and creating efficiencies supporting the External & Legislative Affairs organization, the front-line for AT&T in the public policy debate.
**What You'll Do:**
Budget management and reporting on the overall financial plan for business client
Develop Budget Plan, Commitment View, Best View, including analysis and recommendations for management reviews.
Prepare executive presentations, telling the story of business performance, utilizing visuals with compelling insights
Model scenarios to analyze risks and opportunities.
Drive efficiencies by proactively identifying opportunities around business performance
**Youll need to have:**
+ Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related discipline
+ Three or more years of related work experience
+ Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, and a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
+ Excellent communication skills and ability to focus on the details
+ Ability to multi-task and adapt in a rapid and fast-paced environment
+ Proficiency in navigating PowerBI
**Even better if you have one or more of the following:**
+ Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
+ A professional certification (e.g. CPA, CMA).
+ Experience in the technology and/or telecommunications industry
+ Understanding of corporate financial planning, reporting & analysis, and costing/profitability methodologies and processes.
+ Familiarity with writing SQL scripts and Microsoft Power Queries, PowerPivot, and DAX formulas
+ Ability to develop reports in PowerBI
