Lead, Regulatory, Advocacy

Supports and represents the interests of the company in all government matters. Develops and advocates relative to public policy and actions affecting the business. Acts as the company advocate (representative/lobbyist) in rate/tariff cases. Develops relationships with and seeks to influence representatives of federal, state, local, and international governments on matters that may positively impact business interests. Works closely and cooperatively with Legal and Communications/Public Relations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

This position may be responsible for creating corporate public affairs briefings and demonstrations at the state, federal and international level within designated timeframes and allocated budgets within their region, segment or area of responsibility. Must quickly and correctly analyze the landscape; draft strategic messaging to support the company's public policy agendas and review with appropriate stakeholders. Plans, coordinates and implements technical or highly complex communications programs. Coordinates strategic communications, grassroots activities, media relations, social media and third party activities to generate constituent support. Translates complex corporate policy goals into simple, easy to understand strategic messaging delivered through briefings and demonstrations for AT&T services to third party groups and policymakers.

Key Competencies and Skills:

Requires: 1 to 3 years experience. Experience working in a global company Experience working with community outreach and engagement

Education and Qualifications:

Requires a Bachelors Degree
