Logistics Analyst

The Logistics Analyst supporting ABS Global Supply Chain operations (Planning, Sourcing and Logistics) is responsible for the enablement and deployment of ABS service offers, products and technology, with familiarity of the ABS tools and systems (GPS, NC3, EFMS, HALO, CAMO) used to process all Managed Services and Outsourced client production orders. The individual interfaces with OEMs and Distributors on new product hardware and software, and develops the necessary system and process changes to procure, deploy and maintain the product by all AT&T organizations. Further to this, the Logistics Analyst serves as the liaison between ABS Global Supply Chain and internal AT&T teams (Service Delivery, Life Cycle Management, Project Management, Product Management, Account teams, Labs, and Service Assurance), to obtain new Customer, Project, or technical specifications, and provide the necessary business and system requirements to the IBM Development and AT&T Tech Dev teams to successfully support the ABS operations.


Experience and Responsibilities:


+ 3-5 years experience in supporting ABS Global Supply Chain operations (Procurement, Inventory Management, Forward & Reverse Logistics), Service Delivery, Life Cycle Management, Project Management, Product Management, or Accounts teams.

+ Working knowledge of the ABS Managed Services Offers, Clients, products, technology, systems and tools. Broad understanding of the ABS workgroup functions: Procurement, Logistics, Service Delivery Project Management and Engineering, and DTAC

+ Ability to create Client Requests and Service Requests for ABS Customer orders, and manage production orders in the ABS GPS and NC3 tools

+ Provide guidance, direction, and training to other team members on the effective use of the ABS systems and tools. Produce Desk Level Documentation on the proper use of the ABS systems and tools to manage all ABS order types

+ Act as the liaison between ABS Global Supply Chain and internal AT&T teams (Service Delivery, Life Cycle Management, Project Management, Product Management, Account teams, Labs, and Service Assurance), to obtain new Customer, Project, or technical specifications, and provide business and system requirements to successfully support the ABS operations

+ Interface with OEMs and Distributors on new product hardware and software, and develop the necessary system changes to procure, deploy and maintain the product by all AT&T organizations. Ensure all ABS product is properly procured, deployed, and recovered in compliance with ABS GSC designed systems and tools.

+ Serve as the primary interface between ABS Global Supply Chain and the Communications Test Design, Inc. (CTDI) Supplier located in Buford, Georgia. Position required the physical, full time, onsite presence at the CTDI location.


Education:


+ Bachelors degree preferred.
