The Meadows is the leading behavioral health treatment facility in Central Pennsylvania providingcomprehensive services to children, adolescents, adults and older adults. The Meadows is licensed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Human Services and is also accredited by The Joint Commission (TJC). The Meadows is located in Centre Hall, PA. We are seeking a full time, day shiftMAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN to join our Plant Operations Team.

The position of Maintenance Technician full time and eligible for our excellent benefits program including competitive health benefits, 23 days of paid time off each year (with ability to carry time over from year to year); 4 leave bank days (which can be carried over from year to year), employee discount purchasing program, 401k with company match, education/training reimbursement, and more!

The day shift Maintenance Technician will generally work form 7am to 3:30pm but should be flexible to adjust hours from time to time if required by special projects.

Maintenance Technician team members work Monday thru Friday with participation in rotating weekend shifts and will also be required to participate in some holiday an on-call shifts. We provideon-call and call back compensation to our Maintenance Technician staff.

The position reports to the Director of Facilities.Under the direction of the Director of Facilities/or designee, the Maintenance Technician is expected to perform a variety of general maintenance duties in an timely and quality manner; taking pride in a job well done.

Job Requirements

The position of Maintenance Technician requires the following:

  • Basic knowledge of carpentry,painting, electrical, plumbing, mechanical repairs, preventative maintenance
  • Electrical work experience and/or formal electrical training ispreferred
  • Experience with basic plumbing, heating & cooling and related repairs.
  • HVAC certification or training is preferred
  • Must be committed to excellent customer service and ensure quality and timeliness of work to ensure the safety and satisfaction of patients and staff.
  • This position requires a minimum high school diploma or equivalent plus three years related experience or two years of technical/trade school with a one year related experience (preferred)
  • Must possess a valid drivers license with a good driving record (position may be required to operate company vehicles)

Pay is based upon experience and applicable formal education in preferred skills areas indicated above.
