As a member of the Analytics Tools and Platforms (ATP) team, the Manager Business Intelligence Solutions will support groups focused on driving business results through data-driven business intelligence solutions. This role will focus on providing Pfizer with innovative analytics and business intelligence solutions.

Specifically, this Manager role will actively support engineering, design and development of business intelligence solutions.

ATP has consistently innovated for Pfizer in terms of technology. This includes solutions such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), MicroStrategy, Tableau and Snowflake.


+ Work closely with teams across Pfizer to maximize the use of global business intelligence and analytics solutions.

+ Direct developers responsible for design and delivery of business intelligence solutions.

+ Define and enforce best practices in business intelligence design, including data design, UI design and security.

+ Provides hands-on development efforts.

+ Directly manage projects from initiation to delivery.


+ BA degree in a technical discipline (Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, etc.) with 5+ years relevant experience

+ Ability to lead a team of business analysts, project managers, delivery managers and developers.

+ Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

+ Ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly.

+ 3-4 years' experience developing MicroStrategy and Tableau solutions.

+ Proven delivery of business intelligence and analytics solutions.

+ Exposure to data lake and cloud BI concepts.

+ Experience with highly scalable systems is desired.

+ Excellent verbal and communication skills.


+ Background in systems architecture & engineering

+ 6-8 years prior work experience; Life Science and/or Technology experience preferred

+ 6-8 years of experience design, supporting and maintaining very large business intelligence solutions

+ 2-4 years of experience using AWS cloud solutions

+ 4-6 years supporting analyst and data science solution


5% travel to Pfizer locations, including NYC, Peapack and Collegeville (post pandemic)
