This position is available at our Collegeville, PA, Peapack, NJ, or New York City offices. Commuting to the Peapack office 1-2 days a week will be required.



The Pfizer Global Supply (PGS) Digital Plant Team is driving world class performance by connecting manufacturing, quality and supply chain processes into a secure, seamless data driven insight engine at every level of the PGS Plant Network. These solutions are critical to Manufacturing Execution, Manufacturing Process Intelligence and Production Optimization that aim to improve product quality, increase asset utilization/uptime, automate manual workflows and streamline plant floor operations while ensuring a unified User Centric Design approach. These solutions are deployed across more than fifty manufacturing & center locations across PGS Globally.



**ABOUT THE ROLE**



We are seeking an Experience Design Manager who has the ability to synthesize all the complexities of delivering business and customer value into engaging, intelligent, and intuitively transformative digital experiences.



With the guidance of our team's Strategic Thought Leadership, the Experience Design Manager will employ user-centric design thinking methods to conceptualize and effectively communicate research findings, artifacts, and detailed design rationale both verbally and visually to our colleagues and stakeholders.

**WHAT YOU'LL DO**



+ Lead design projects across the entire product lifecycle and multiple product launches that may begin in one platform and continue or end on another

+ Conduct interviews, strategic analysis, and competitive research

+ Lead and incorporate user research and usability testing to iterate on product solutions

+ Explore opportunities for future innovations through design research, leveraging key insights from research and data analysis to spot opportunities for innovation

+ Facilitate collaborative design thinking workshops with various teams and stakeholders

+ Conduct comparative and evaluative research into technical solutions and industry trends

+ Identify and understand business context, demands and opportunities

+ Produce deliverables including prototypes, proof of concepts, wireframes, user flows, use cases, test plans, personas, and user journeys

+ Monitor and track progress throughout development and quality of the experience

+ Create briefings for our visual designers and produce lean documentation of features



**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**



+ 5+ years' experience in an Experience Design, User Experience, IA or similar role

+ A solid understanding and demonstration of user centric design principles

+ An advanced proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Axure, InVision, and Adobe Creative Suite

+ Ability to collaborate actively as part of a multi-disciplinary team

+ Enthusiasm, patience, and a solutions-oriented attitude toward any risks and challenges

+ Comfort with ambiguity and complex problems

+ Organized, able to act independently, and able to switch between different projects in a fast-paced environment

+ Familiarity in emergent technologies and how to apply them to different business challenges

+ Ability to confidently present work and to accept or provide constructive feedback

+ Bachelor's Degree in Design or relevant field

+ Experience utilizing Lean and Agile methodologies



**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**



+ UX, HFI, SAFe or equivalent certification highly desirable

+ Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks a plus

+ Pharmaceutical or Manufacturing Industry experience a plus

**PHYSICAL OR MENTAL REQUIREMENTS**



+ Ability to manage many parallel objectives and changing priorities. Working with various stakeholders from multiple groups.



**TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS**



+ Ability to travel domestic and internationally up to 20%. Ability to meet with colleagues both physically and virtually across different regions
