This role works in close partnership with the merchants teams to develop marketing strategies that enable growth.\u0026nbsp; The responsibility of this position is to serve as chief marketing officer for a merchandise department. The Merchandise Marketing Manager is responsible for developing meaningful and lasting business positioning for each merchandising department, as well as annual, quarterly and monthly marketing plans. The position will be required to manage both strategic and tactical execution of marketing programs, and drive their integration throughout the company. The position serves as primary liaison between Merchandising leaders and all Marketing cross-functional departments.\u003Cbr /\u003E \u003Cbr /\u003E \u003Cstrong\u003EMAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES\u003C/strong\u003E\u003Cbr /\u003E\u003Cul\u003E\u003Cli\u003E25% Develop annual, quarterly and monthly strategic and tactical marketing plans for merchandising departments based on competitive analysis, consumer input, financial data, and creative tactics. Outcome to be relevant pricing, consumer promotions, and communication of such both internally and externally. Involves leading monthly marketing meetings with merchandise departments and cross-functional teams.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003E20% Take lead with marketing peers to integrate merchandising plans and those of other business owners within the organization, such as Advertising, CRM, Brand Management, Public Relations, Store Operations, etc. Accountable for ensuring accurate communication to both internal partners and external consumers.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003E30% Manage execution of tactical elements of marketing programs, including setting up promotions, working collaberatively with advertising creative team, ensuring communication to store associates, vendors, etc.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003E15% Develop and maintain strong relationships with merchandise vendors. The goals of these relationships are to establish unique sales-driving opportunities to THD, direct and manage incremental vendor funding for marketing projects, and provide value opportunites for merchant sales negotiations.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003E10% Lead development of strategic and tactical plan for seasonal \u0022Event\u0022 marketing effort.
