The Opportunity 

We're making healthy happen faster! Bright.md helps primary care providers deliver remarkably efficient, high quality, delightful asynchronous virtual care, improving provider efficiency by as much as 90%, increasing care quality by 2x, and delighting patients and providers with a new experience of care. 

Much more than "telehealth," we build products that bridge the communication gap between patients and providers, automating the remote care delivery process for clinicians at major health systems. This unique approach means that we enable a 10x reduction in cost and provider time, markedly better clinical outcomes, and major improvements in both patient and provider satisfaction.

We are seeking a Manager of Marketing Communications to lead content strategy and development, evolve the Bright.md brand, and manage the marketing communications team. This position will report to the Head of Marketing and is full-time, located at our HQ in Portland, OR.

Responsibilities

This position will guide thought leadership programs and the Bright.md brand to build the market and accelerate our growth. In support of these goals, you will manage the marketing communications team, design content strategy, and lead development through to execution. 

  • Design, plan and execute a content marketing strategy that delivers to marketing initiatives including demand generation, thought leadership, and brand building
  • Continually evolve our brand, partnering closely with the head of marketing
  • Lead all marcom stages from production through execution, providing the marketing team with clear timelines and project management to ensure we meet our strategic goals for projects including content, website, print, events, direct mail, and video 
  • Own the production and editorial calendar for the marketing team
  • Collaborate closely with sales, product, and customer success team leads to drive marketing communications strategy, support sales, product, customer success, and other departments
  • Measure the effectiveness of our content, continually testing and iterating to improve
  • Maximize channels of content distribution across social, partners, and media working with other team members
  • Manage strategy, planning, and execution for virtual and in-person events to support marketing, sales, and customer success 
  • Guide our customer marketing programs, partnering with customer success, to turn customers into advocates for Bright.md that help us tell our story
  • Support our external PR with our external communications strategy, as well as with the stories, trends, and thought leadership that helps us build awareness

Skills and Experience

Writing samples are required. 

  • 3+ years of management experience; you are a proven leader that can develop a high-functioning team and regularly roll up your sleeves
  • 5+ years in marketing communications, content, writing, or related role
  • Deep experience in a market-maker role developing and executing strategy
  • Superb communication skills, both written and visual
  • Flawless project management skills, including the ability to influence stakeholders inside and outside of marketing
  • Collaborative, you love to work as a team both inside and outside of marketing
  • Proven experience evolving and developing a brand
  • Experience writing for the healthcare industry preferred
