Manager, Offer Lifecycle Enablement

The Manager, Offer Lifecycle Enablement will lead a team to drive the commercial and operational enablement of CX Offers. This includes creating whole new services, leading changes to existing services, and ensuring the our subscription and SaaS product offerings are designed to include and use the right services. The scope will include transformation initiatives for CX, as well as core offers from Advanced Services, Technical Services, Managed Services and Learning. Our team helps to define the offer, and design the commercial structure and experience, working together with CX and cross functional operations teams. Your ability to align strategy to outcomes, both specific to your scope and for the good of the business is critical. Your deliverables will be aligned to quote-to-cash enablement, and youll need a thorough understanding of related principles. But you must lead with a full lifecycle mentality, ensuring that the outcome you and your team design, has the ability to scale.


What You Will Do

  • Lead a team of project managers through the CX NPI process and ensure the operations results are met at each NPI review gate
  • Partner with CX product management and other CX Team teams in development of new services initiatives/offers.
  • Ensure your team drives quality and scalability into each release, with a lifecycle first approach
  • Provide day to day management direction and oversight to your team, including customer concerns and/or critical decision making
  • Track and assess performance of your team
  • Lead critical initiatives internal to the team or for the CX business
  • Ensure CX business interests and priorities are represented in all offer types whether led by CX or the Product BUs.

The Offer Lifecycle Enablement team is a team within the Offer Lifecycle pillar of Product Operations. Our overall team charter is to build and deliver new offers and capabilities that help our field sell, make it easier to do business with Cisco and connect Operations to partners to anticipate future needs.

Who You Are

You are a proactive, structured problem solver who excels at making complexity simple. You love to work in cross-functional teams and you have a shared success mentality. You have a firm understanding of industry business processes related to service product lifecycle, and software models. You thrive in sophisticated and ambiguous environments, and you can break things down to manageable work efforts. You can tell stories visually (typically PowerPoint) to help cross functional partners to understand the operational solution and customer experience. You are able to establish relationships with cross functional partners based on your expertise, building trust, and sharing success. You have experience managing full time employees and have strong coaching skills. You have a track record of success with the implementation of large cross-functional projects/programs.

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelors degree, plus a minimum of 10 years proven experience.
  • Previous management experience
  • Outstanding project management skills.
  • Strong PowerPoint skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills both verbal and written.

Desired Skills:

  • PMP or related certification preferred.
  • Strong understanding / experience with Cisco CX, or experience in the Technology Services Industry preferred.
  • Strong understanding of commercial monetization models.
  • Internal Candidates: Strong working knowledge of core commerce tools, e.g. CCW and CCWR
  • Works independently with minimal direction.
