What You Will Do

This role will support the Sr. Director of New Business Models in the Collaboration Technology Group (CTG). In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the teams strategic initiatives including new route to market, partner program optimization, and others. You should expect the areas of focus to constantly evolve as previous projects mature and become mainstream.

Your initial priority will be responsible for defining and driving the implementation of Cisco Webex routes to market focused on customers with 50 to 500 employees through the Agency channel. You will lead transformational initiatives to optimize Ciscos commerce tools and our delivery/fulfillment capabilities for this segment. You will also work closely with engineering and pricing teams to improve Ciscos performance in Small Businesses.

Operational experience building or running Agent and Master Agent processes is an absolute requirement for the position. We will value knowledge in sales management, commission management, quoting processes, implementation (aka professional services), support, or lifecycle.

You are expected to:

  • Define end-to-end requirements for a successful implementation of an Agency program
  • Communicate with different stakeholders in the company to align on the program execution including sales, commerce tools, finance, legal and services
  • Act as a subject-matter expert for this route-to-market
  • Lead a cross functional team in the execution of the project
  • Plan and execute on routes to market evolution
  • Own it! Hold yourself accountable for our success in Small Business and lead change throughout Cisco toward this goal

  • Analytical thinker with ability to map high-level business objectives into a structured set of activities
  • Motivated self-learner by definition, most of the knowledge and processes associated with a specific initiative are not going to be well-established within Cisco
  • Relationship builder with a focus on collaboration and influence in a matrixed environment
  • A doer you find areas for improvement, you prioritize, and you get things done

Experience Needed

  • 5 years of experience supporting agency-led sales model (busines architecture, partner operations, or lifecycle management)
  • Demonstrated experience delivering business outcomes through cross-functional & multi-level partnerships.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently research and document business-relevant topics (e.g., competitive features, market pricing, industry trends, etc.)
  • Experience implementing functional projects, programs and/or process improvements
  • Desired: understanding of Ciscos collaboration portfolio (Webex Calling and Webex Meetings) and/or similar industry solutions
