What You'll Do

As a Manager within Ciscos External Reporting Team you will :

  • 10-K/10-Q process, primarily focused on footnotes
  • Earnings Release- Press Release, Audit Committee Materials
  • Foreign Exchange Close Reporting
  • Review Close Schedules and Prepare CFO Supplementals
  • New Accounting Standards Reporting Impacts
  • Selected Government Surveys
  • Proxy Statement Sections
  • S-Ox 302 Process
  • Technical Accounting Memos for External Reporting
  • S-Ox 404 Controls for Reporting and PTL
  • Financial Statement statutory reporting signature process

Who Youll Work With

Ciscos Corporate Controller Group is comprised of several groups that are committed to supporting business processes with high level of integrity and credibility through developing, influencing and implementing global financial policy and process and effective partnership. The External Reporting Group is part of the Corporate Controller Group. This group is responsible for SEC and other External Reporting at Cisco Systems, Inc.

Who You Are

You have a strong instinct to act who can and partner with cross-functional leaders worldwide to build a best-in-class financial accounting environment in this contribution-driven Accounting Manager role.

  • You will possess at least 7+ years (or an MBA with 5+ years experience) of relevant Accounting experience, preferably with a comprised of a mix of Corporate and Public Accounting experience.
  • Public Accounting or Big 4 firm experience, with a CPA / CA in combination with work experience with a large, well regarded multinational corporation are preferred.
  • Confirmed skills in influencing, leadership, and organization, combined with strong communication skills are key.
  • Experience working with senior executives and the ability to interact at that level are paramount to success in this position.
  • You are ambitious and able to lead, plan and execute in a dynamic corporate environment, are a confirmed collaborator, have excellent accounting project management skills, and you keep multiple priorities moving at the same time!
