**This Full-Time intern position will be available Summer 2021**
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Help develop marketing, brand campaign and content plans
- Support messaging and project execution related to brand initiatives
- Support the development and execution of client briefings
Digital:
- Provide web graphic design and user experience oversight on key digital projects
- Design and execute email / social / web marketing communications campaigns
- Conduct marketing analysis and data visualization
- Conduct cost benefit analysis and ROI model development
- Help refine messaging and positioning to effectively communicate value propositioning, strengths and market differentiation
- Assist with marketing collateral development and website representation
- Help define and subdivide a specific market into clearly identifiable segments having similar needs, wants, or demand characteristics.
- Aid in the design of a marketing mix that precisely matches the expectations of customers in the targeted segment
- Supporting our internal client management and business development teams with large customers, prospects, consultants and business groups
- Work closely with internal teams as well as external vendors on planning and execution of consumer marketing initiatives
Market Research and Competitive Intelligence:
- Research industry and competitive trends and data to inform product and marketing strategies
- Conduct secondary research and competitive intelligence analysis
- Conduct SWOT analysis (strengths, weakness, opportunities and threats) by means of researching industry trends, gathering competitive intelligence, and leveraging internal and external sources to - inform go-to-market plans/ strategies
- Help build and deliver best-in-class technology solutions and capabilities at scale
- Support the design of customer experiences by leveraging data-driven insights and analytics
- Create comprehensive journey maps outlining things such as end to end member experiences and business processes
- Creation of internal, external and digital content (e.g. newsroom stories, media pitches, internal web content, social posts)
- Assist with creation of creative assets to support communications campaigns (e.g., video, photography, infographics)
- Proof and edit key documents and deliverables for internal and external use
- Support Enterprise messaging campaigns by collecting, packaging and gathering approvals on campaign assets
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree from an accredited college / university during the duration of the internship. Internships are not intended for graduating seniors
- Minimum 3.00 cumulative GPA
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization(F-1 students with practical training and candidates requiringH-1Bs, TNs, etc. will not be considered)
- You will be asked to perform this role in an office setting, however, may be required to work from home temporarily due to space limitations
- Employees are required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener prior to entering the work site each day, in order to keep our work sites safe. Employees must comply with any state and local masking orders. In addition, when in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are expected to wear a mask in areas where physical distancing cannot be attained
Preferred Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in marketing, business or another related field
