*Department Summary*
The Marketing Technology team of the Edward Jones Agency partners with other Marketing and Technology departments to identify, select and implement new technological solutions designed to deliver an unparalleled client experience. We leverage data, insights and tools to enable a more efficient, targeted and personalized process of attracting new clients and deepening existing client relationships.

*Responsibility Summary*
The Technical Project Leader will lead the strategic execution of large and medium projects that support an unparalleled client experience. These efforts require a high degree of collaboration with business partners from across Marketing, Technology, Firm Analytics, other divisions of Edward Jones, and/or technical vendors.

Specifically, this position will act as the technology project leader for internal communications efforts for the firm. Working in close partnership with the Enterprise Communications team, this individual will:

* Serve as technical product owner for project to implement a new internal communications platform.
* Partner with the Enterprise Communications team and project leader to develop a plan that is comprehensive and time-bound
* Ensure all business, technical, compliance and legal needs are addressed as part of the implementation
* Lead project team through implementation of the new tool that improves our ability to deliver relevant, personalized information

* Ensure internal communication tools being utilized by the home office and branch teams are operating at maximum effectiveness.
* Partner with the Enterprise Communications team to understand their business needs and objectives, and represent those needs when interacting with internal technology teams and third-party technologies
* Document current issues, manage backlog, support integrations and drive future enhancements
* Lead weekly meetings with vendors and internal stakeholders
* Serve as the primary technical point of contact for all internal communication tools

* Lead the innovation efforts for our internal communication tools to uncover new solutions that optimize our abilities to communicate and collaborate. Such systems may include virtual meeting/webinar, associate feedback management, blogs, chat and chat bots, crowdsourcing, and community management.

*Preferred Background: *
* Prior knowledge/experience working in highly regulated industries such as financial services
* Prior experience implementing and supporting marketing technology solutions and how these solutions can work together to deliver highly personalized experiences
* Deep understanding of digital and Agile best practices
* Prior experience working with systems that provide interaction functionality, including chat and/or chat bots and commenting
* Prior experience developing and executing RFPs

*Required Qualifications:*
* 5+ years of experience in technical project leadership or product ownership in consumer marketing team, preferably financial services, showing increasing level of responsibility
* Deep subject matter expertise with internal communications and collaboration tools that may include Social Chorus, Dynamic Signal, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams.
* Must be comfortable leading discussions between business areas and technical experts to determine project needs. Ability to convey technical concepts in an understandable manner appropriate to the audience.
* Experience with project and/or functional leadership in the industry in increasingly responsible positions. Can include both formal and informal leadership roles.
* Ability to independently identify, prioritize, monitor, communicate, and/or resolve elements that can impact a project.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
