National Advanced Customer Engagement Director

The National Advanced Customer Engagement Director (ACED) works across a broad, multi-disciplinary group of stakeholders to provide customer insights and patient driven solutions that create opportunities with Pfizer's largest National and Enterprise account entities and third party affiliates, which account for more than half of all US Healthcare inpatient, outpatient, and ER encounters. The majority of the National ACE Director's time will be working directly with internal stakeholders and customers to optimize customer engagement that drives incremental value for the customer, Pfizer, and the patient.


+ Accelerate and optimize account engagement that drives incremental value for the account, their affiliated MG-IDN Health Systems, Pfizer, and the patient

+ Work with the National Director of Key Accounts (NDKA), Enterprise Account Director (EAD), aligned functional teams, and key Account stakeholders in developing an optimal plan for effectively implementing, communicating, and improving patient care that is aligned to appropriate goals and KPIs and account/system capabilities

+ Work with the IAT and National/Enterprise account stakeholders to identify, design, and co-create patient driven solutions that support mutually aligned goals for the account and Pfizer

+ Work cross-functionally with Pfizer stakeholders (to include, but may not be limited to, legal, compliance, HIT, marketing, medical, procurement, agencies, and digital) to develop SOPs and Best Practices for co-creation of content, resources, and materials with National and Enterprise accounts

+ Share best practices across the nation and amongst Pfizer Business Units / aligned functional areas on the use of Brand- and ACE-created resources that appropriately advances and accelerates account & health system initiatives

+ Ensure progress toward account goals is monitored and plans are adjusted accordingly to ensure impact is established and sustained

+ Generate insights that inform strategy and optimize execution and account engagement

+ Lead, develop, and implement account and project plans in partnership with Brand Teams, Business Units, National Accounts Team Lead, and Enterprise Lead and ensure alignment with Pfizer Bold Moves / Big Ideas and National / Enterprise Goals and KPIs

+ Demonstrate Subject Matter Expertise - specifically for:

+ Innovative and strategic project concept and design

+ Prioritized therapeutic areas

+ Critical Account Management (project management + change management)

+ Account organizational governance/decision making/capabilities/stakeholder management


Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.


+ Prior local marketing and/or in-line marketing experience with strong history of achievement and performance (5+ years)

+ Proven ability to develop insights, strategy and tactical plans

+ Extensive experience in sales, account management, or other marketing/customer facing role

+ Cross-functional experience is preferred

+ Strong strategic analytical capability with sound business acumen and customer orientation

+ Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills to synthesize customer and market insights into prioritized marketing opportunities

+ Knowledge of the healthcare market and its customers

+ Effectively works with cross-functional stakeholders and is capable of being an effective member of the National and Enterprise Account Teams

+ Strong persuasive interpersonal, communication and leadership skills

+ Sound business acumen

This position will require up to 50% travel as needed to develop internal and external relationships. Travel also will be required periodically for training, meetings at NYHQ, launches, etc.
