The USAF partnered with AT&T to consolidate multiple disparate expenditures and IT projects into a consolidated enterprise while still allowing its users to retain the ability to tailor services and service levels. AT&T is providing commercial IT services to the USAF to improve performance of IT services and allow re-missioning of military personnel to cyber warfighting missions.

The AT&T Network as a Service (NaaS) team has an opening for a Network Analyst to support the US Air Force by providing maintenance and repair services to intelligently scale network services, enable rapid deployment of emerging technologies, and provide industry-leading security, performance, and reliability. Our NaaS team is dedicated to improving the USAF IT experience through commercial services to increase mission effectiveness. It supports the AF Program Management Office, Air Combat Command, 16AF and subordinated units delivering high-availability and secure network capabilities.


+ Conduct network architecture design, feasibility and cost studies

+ Heavily involved with identifying and resolving critical network related issues that impact business operations

+ Make decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction

+ Develop and evaluate network performance criteria and measurement method

+ Manage basic and expedited support to resolve all networking related issues

+ Analyze and prepare the short-term or long-term capacity needs for switching, routing transmission, and signaling

+ Work with technical teams to ensure that hardware and software infrastructure is maintained with latest firmware and software requirements

+ Develop alternative routing scenarios and changes in required sequence of network activities

+ Troubleshoot and resolve all expedited issues impacting client challenges and needs

+ Proactively communicate the status, plan(s) of action, and resolution of issues

+ Identify opportunities and recommend solutions for improving the overall network health by assessing overall effectiveness and efficiency

+ Evaluate new technologies and platforms to determine whether their applicability aligns with businesses needs

**Required Clearance:**

Must possess or be able to obtain TS/SCI (#ts/sci)

**Required Qualifications:**

+ Must be a US Citizen

+ Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), or equivalent experience

+ Eight years in IT services such as Internet, cloud computing, hosting, managed services, etc.

+ Strong experience with the following:

+ Cisco Switches (38xx, 45xx, 65xx, 9xxx, Nexus, and cloud managed switch solutions)

+ Cisco Routers (ISR gen2, gen3, and ASR platforms)

+ Routing protocols on Cisco routers and layer 3 switches including OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP

+ Layer 2 Protocols: VLANs, VTP, LACP, PAGP, and Spanning Tree (STP)

+ Network Services Protocols: VSS, WCCP, ACLs, Policy Based Routing (PBR)

**Desired Qualifications:**

+ Clearable to TS/SCI security clearance

+ Strong familiarity with AT&T DoD service offerings, preferably relating to USAF and NaaS

+ Expertise in MPLS networks and managed router services

+ Two or more of the following professional certifications:

+ Cisco (Highly desired)

+ Microsoft

+ F5

+ Background in USAF Cyberspace Operations and understanding of technical discussions and projects

+ Excellent social, verbal, and written communication skills, with demonstrated ability to present analytical data to a variety of technical and non-technical audiences
