Our Defense Team supports our Nations warfighters, providing, operating and assuring critical voice, video and collaboration services for the full spectrum of military operations. The AT&T Government Solutions Army Division, operating as a subcontractor of GDIT on the Revolutionary Information Technology Services (RITS) contract, will provide network management engineering and support services to the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). The USACE provides network services to numerous sites located throughout CONUS, OCONUS and in several international locations. The work location for this position is Washington, DC.


AT&T has an opening for a Network Engineer to support the US Army Corps of Engineers, in providing LAN and WAN network management services for the RITS contract. Will provide services related to implementing, maintaining, supporting, developing and designing communication networks within USACE organizations to ensure the integrity of high availability network infrastructure to provide maximum performance for users.


Job Duties/Responsibilities:


+ Member of a large team, operating under a subcontract, supporting the Army Corps of Engineers Revolutionary Information Technology Services (RITS) contract.

+ Reports to the AT&T RITS project manager

+ Leads a team of engineers based out of Washington DC supporting the Telecommunications task.

+ Manages the operational changes to configurations of network devices, subnets, and IP address allocation for both LAN and WAN.

+ Performs patching and upgrade of network device operating systems and configurations.

+ Supports testing of patches, upgrades, and configuration changes.

+ Supports development of Network services SOPs and knowledge management articles.

+ Maintains configurations on network devices to include routers, switches, servers, and appliances.

+ Troubleshoots network issues and documents resolution.

+ Supports architects in design, development, and testing of network changes.


Required Clearance:

SECRET (#secret)


Required Qualifications:


+ Bachelors Degree in related technical field

+ 10+ years of experience

+ 8570/8140 IAM: IAT II

+ Security Cert: CASP CE, CCNP SECURITY, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH

+ Computer Cert: CCNP

+ IT Level: IT Level I


Desired Qualifications:


+ Strong people and organizational skills with ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and responsibilities

+ Comfortable working with confidential /sensitive/ secret or proprietary information

+ Excellent command of the English language (written and oral) and strong listening skills
