Our Network Operations Center (NOC) detects and protects against unauthorized access, exploitation, and data exfiltration targeting Federal Government, US-based Commercial, State, Local, Tribal, and Territorial (SLTT) organizations networks.


AT&T has an opening for a NOC Tier 1, day-shift, Sun-Thur (6am 2pm) to support the Government, DoD and Commercial services in providing help desk and network monitoring and management support for multiple custom networks/service applications in a 24X7 operations facility.


**Job Duties/Responsibilities:**


+ Fault monitoring and management, troubleshooting, network and application management, configuration control, trouble ticket generation and management, and reports development and generation.

+ Provide customer phone support and status updates as needed.

+ Provide direction, coordination and partner with various work centers, network engineers/system administrators, and customer organizations in the execution of daily tasks.

+ Proactively monitor network related issues using various monitoring tools.

+ Conduct basic layer 1 troubleshooting of equipment when required.

+ Make technical and process recommendations to prevent repeating outages.


**Required Clearance:**


TS/SCI; US citizenship(#topsecret)


**Required Qualifications:**


+ DOD 8570 IAM I/IAT II Certification via Security + Certification

+ Work experience in tiered operational support

+ Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude

+ Proven experience in or knowledge of network management of WAN/LAN computer networks, data communications, TCP/IP, applications monitoring & diagnostics

+ Working knowledge of Solarwinds or comparable network management tool, ticketing systems (e.g. Trac, ManageEngine, or Remedy), and basic Windows and Linux skills


**Desired Qualifications:**


+ Familiarity with routers, switches, firewalls, server system administration skills, Splunk, Windows, Linux.
