Your Role and Responsibilities
The new IBM Digital Sales for Storage Modern Go-To-Market model is seeking innovative and enthusiastic offering management professionals to join our team building the next generation Storage content and offerings. A solid understanding of email marketing best practices, reporting, testing, database management and content development is essential. If you love creating new business value around cutting edge Storage technologies, working with customers as they transform their business to the multicloud, and working with dynamic and high performing sales teams. The ideal candidate will have understanding of Storage solution offerings, and experience in executing Email and marketing automation strategies and tactical campaigns.

Your Role and Responsibilities as an Offering & Content Manager your responsibilities will include:
  • Researching markets, market trends, competitor solutions and offering value propositions
  • Collecting and analyzing requirements from customers and a broad set of stakeholders
  • Working with product portfolio leaders to refine requirements and define business outcomes
  • Creating innovative offerings and eDMs
  • Evaluating and prioritizing product features and managing the offering roadmap
  • Presenting individual and team status during weekly playbacks or on management calls
  • Collaborating with DDRs and extended Systems Teams and Business Partners
  • Hands-on execution of email marketing programs in support of company and client objectives. This includes ownership of the setup, maintenance, and review of batch and triggered email campaigns, including the coordination of email distribution, administration of multiple ESP systems, calendar management and reporting.
  • Perform in-depth audits of client and prospect email activity, making actionable recommendations around technical system set up, email functionality, subscription management, Content, dynamic content and personalisation, automation and overall email & CRM strategy.
  • Analyse email campaign results and report campaign performance, summarising key insights, and offering recommendations. Work with analytics team to understand business and customer needs and site analytics required to measure email success.
  • Write detailed briefs for creative and development teams and collaborate to create world-class email campaigns.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for data integration for multiple platforms and systems ensuring integrated program management and optimal use of third-party programs and partnerships.
  • Make recommendations and promote the use of innovative email features and capabilities including dynamic content, interactivity, intelligent targeting, personalization, database segmentation, APIs and email templates.
  • Stay current with regulatory industry standards related to emailensures best practices through email compliance and spam regulation (GDPR, CAN-SPAM) and share email program insights and recommendations with marketing managers and colleagues.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • 3-5 years of sales experience solving complex business problems in the IT industry
  • Demonstrate problem solving, interpersonal, and time management skills to handle complex situations effectively
  • Strong communication skills, and the ability to work directly with customers and stakeholders
  • Self-motivated decision maker, frequently taking initiative and recognizing opportunities to improve the offering
  • Able to leverage research and direct customer interactions to understand market needs
  • Data and insight driven to make web and product decisions for growth\\
  • Working knowledge of sophisticated email marketing and marketing automation solutions
  • Experience with email marketing software (e.g. Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Campaign, DotDigital. IBM Watson Campaign Automation)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment & independently
  • An understanding of digital analytics tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics)
  • An understanding of HTML, CSS & mobile-first email design

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Bachelors Degree (Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or related) or equivalent experience
  • Experience as an offering manager or product manager
  • Knowledge of the IBM Storage and Business Partner ecosystem
  • Experience in data analytics
  • Knowledge of Design Thinking principles
  • Ability to demo the solutions at a detailed level, requiring a hands-on individual
  • Experience in client enablement, consulting, or customer support
