**Job Purpose:**

**Responsible for Oncology Business assigned Targets by:**

+ Making professional & skillful presentations to targeted doctors of the assigned territory for business generation.

+ Ensuring adequate knowledge of the products and their competition to establish & communicate the benefit of products to customers/users.

+ Updating doctors/chemists contact records list as & when needed with the consent of Category Lead and maintains all call records accordingly through M.I. system.

+ Preparing his/her weekly and monthly call plans and properly follows it to improve coverage of A, B & C class customers as per defined KPIs.

+ Keeping track of competitive activities in his/her geographical area and provide feedback to DFM/Country Brand Manager/ Category Lead for onward communication to marketing for rebuttal strategies.

+ Ready to travel frequently.

+ Drive/travel alone to rural areas as per business need to cover the assigned region.

+ Willingness to relocate as per business need.

**Key Responsibilities:**

+ Representative is responsible for calling practicing physicians, hospitals, and other health-related organizations/personnel within an assigned region.

+ Makes professional presentations using selling skills to listed doctors on the approved indications of Pfizer products with a view to increase prescriptions.

+ Submits reports regarding calls made to doctors and chemists to DFM/CBM/Category Lead through M.I. application as per defined KPIs.

+ Follows the approved tour program, makes planned calls accordingly and presents the coverage of A, B & C class customers.

+ Adopt ethical practices while promoting products to customers and the desired information should be passed on about benefits offered by the product.

+ Arranges Product Group Meetings with the doctors to discuss one or two products in detail.

+ Updates knowledge on own & competitive products, collects, reports information on promotional, marketing moves of the competition and provides periodic feedback to his/her manager and the marketing group on these promotional activities.

+ Governs the access model for his/her products in his region.

+ Ensures stock availability of major promotable products at retail level/ institutions in the region for honoring the prescriptions generated by his/her customers.

+ Follows the plans to achieve assigned objectives for increased prescription flow from identified doctors and reports findings periodically to the DFM/CBM/Category Lead.

+ Forwards technical queries raised by the doctors to the Medical Division for clarification.

+ Ensures proper dressing, attire & maintenance of records / detailing kit and vehicle provided.

+ Submits expenses and leave plans as per the deadlines.

+ Responsible to provide information about competitive activities observed in the area to DFM/CBM/Category lead.

+ Prepare and present for monthly business reviews led by the DFM/CBM/Category Lead.

+ Able to work on KAM and chalk out key stake holders for each account.

+ Able to strategize for future areas of growth for his region.

+ Able to keep a track of the projects assigned by marketing and present the progress in business reviews.

**Academic Qualification:**

+ Pharm D/M.Sc./B. Pharmacy/B.Sc. (Biological Sciences, Chemistry)/MBBS. MBA will be an advantage.

**Professional Experience:**

+ Minimum 3 years' experience in Pharmaceutical Sales. Exposure of Oncology/Specialty business or key account management will be preferred.

+ Strong communication skills.

+ Basic Knowledge of Pharmacology, Pathology & Physiology.

+ Powerful Presentation Skills.

+ Computer skills including MS office.

+ Analytical Approach.
