ROLE SUMMARY Communicates and directs the activities of support personnel within Liquid Value Stream Vials. Assures equipment maintenance, both corrective and preventive, is conducted in a timely manner. Assures CGMP compliance. Meets area performance measures. Responds to safety related items. Assures corrective actions are taken when necessary.


+ Supervise Colleagues and coordinate department labor schedule and responsibilities for maintaining operations keeping expenditures within the department budget.

+ Interact with Materials Management to ensure the production schedule optimizes the labor available to complete the required product demands in a cost-efficient manner.

+ Function as the team lead for issue resolution regarding events that impact the Vials area. Assure event is contained and appropriate steps are taken to mitigate risk to product and the manufacturing environment.

+ Uses critical problem-solving skills to provide a holistic assessment of the event and resolution to minimize impact and downtime.

+ Assess trends and implementing corrections and continuous improvement initiatives. Schedule equipment time, reviews and assists in validations and employee training. Monitors area to ensure continual compliance with cGMP's as well as site and organizational requirements.

+ Responds to safety related items and assure corrective actions are taken when necessary. Any other duties as assigned.


+ Bachelor's Degree in related field such as Engineering, Business or Science

+ Minimum 3-5 years relevant work experience in Pharmaceuticals and/or manufacturing

+ Demonstrated leadership capability

+ Must possess the ability to direct technical/mechanical operations and people

+ Must possess strong interpersonal skills and effective communication skills (oral and in written form)

+ Must possess basic math and computer skills

+ Ability to organize, problem solve and manage multiple priorities


+ Vision must be correctable to 20/20.

+ Must be able to communicate and work well interdepartmentally, as well as, with all plant departments.

+ Must be able to read and write, as well as, follow written and oral instructions.

+ Must be capable of performing data entry into calculators and computers


+ This job requires a 12-hour rotating shift.
