The Director, Patient Experience Solutions for Optum360, serves in a key leadership role for the Patient Experience team within OptumInsight.  In this role, they will represent OptumInsight's Provider focused patient experience services, solutions, and strategy to internal and external stakeholders, and prospective clients and partners.  The Director, Patient Experience Solutions will also lead efforts to define the patient-experience focused product and solution roadmap for OptumInsight, including vision, architecture, business case, ROI build and analysis, and resource planning.  The Director of Patient Experience Solutions helps to educate, highlight and compute value and ROI of existing and future solutions to specific partners, and assists with pre-deal management as called upon by our solution design and growth organizations.  They are a credible representative of Optum's commitment to an improved patient experience and uses relationships to build and support the patient experience roadmap for Optum Insight's Provider-facing lines of business.   The Director is tasked with staying abreast of industry trends and the competitive landscape. This person is passionate about healthcare digital transformation, deeply knowledgeable about the workflows and technologies of the ambulatory and acute provider revenue cycle and is a force for change.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Strategic roadmap development and execution, for technology and service solutions focused on improving the patient experience in healthcare
  • Sales and business development support, including presentations, client interactions, value computation, and specific implementation planning / pre-work
  • Contributes to growth and deal conversations as a credible SME for the Provider Revenue Cycle and Patient Experience improvement
  • Senior level change management / transformation leadership; removing barriers to ensure roadmap success
  • Supports the execution of Patient Experience roadmap projects, including project leadership, and delivery of specific tasks and outcomes
