Your Role and Responsibilities
FSS (Financial Services Sector) Sales Manager shall have proven 12-15 Years of Sales & Consulting experience and knowledge needed to develop new business opportunities within Financial Industry within Pakistan, leading to client acceptance of IBM terms and conditions for services delivery. They must understand large and complex Baking & Financial services projects and engagements, with a demonstrated expert knowledge of the appropriate methods and skills needed to solve business problems in the Financial industry.

Candidate is expected to have Year on Year overachieving Sales Quota within Financial Industry and shall contribute to the growth of intellectual capital within the FSS practice area and to support the development of other consultants through participation in mentoring or coaching activities. They are expected to establish trusted long-term relationships with clients through their ability to articulate solutions. This position requires the skills needed to win client trust and confidence leading to the acceptance of new proposals in a manner that supports and reinforces business objectives within the FSS practice. They are expected to identify new business opportunities, creatively participate in the development of solutions, and to provide strong assistance to IBM in the winning of FSS business. Must be familiar with the contractual requirements for FSS practice and be capable of drafting and reviewing responses to Requests for Information (RFI), responses to Requests for Proposal (RFP), IBM contracts, and IBM statements of work.

This position is required to be client-facing, assigned to the development of new opportunities and services proposals more frequently than client billable engagements. When not participating in new business development or bid and proposal activity, is expected to support and lead billable client activities within the FSS practice and participate in related Sector, Solution Area, or Community activities.

Impact on Business and Scope of Job: Accountable for the financial success of engagements directly managed, and responsible for the success of other mentored engagements. Defines the scope, risk and profitability of engagements as expected by Telco practice, as well as the viability of entering new marketplaces and geographies. Identifies and assists with the closing of new business. Develops lasting relationships based on mutual respect with clients decision makers. Significantly influences client satisfaction with IBM through superior services delivery. Develops new solution offerings or methodology's to support the penetration of new markets or expansion of existing markets.

Environment: Has consistently demonstrated strong engagement management, business operations, and mentoring or coaching skills to achieve high client satisfaction and anticipated profit. Has a comprehensive understanding of the marketplace supported by their area of practice.
Uses and supports the growth of methods and asset based services delivery. Drafts clearly understood materials in support of current engagements as well as with other bid and proposal activity for their area of practice.

Communication/Negotiation: Has consistently built cooperative engagement teams, utilizing appropriate resources from IBM and external organizations, setting services delivery priorities, and meeting objectives as defined by their area of practice and IBM policies.
