Introduction
This IBM role is for the exclusive support of the Acoustic Marketing product portfolio formerly known as the Watson Marketing portfolio, and part of the Watson Customer Engagement (WCE) business unit. The Acoustic products are part of the business divestiture announced in April 2019 between IBM and Centerbridge, which has closed in the US in July 2019 and is due to close in Europe in 1H 2020. Centerbridge has set up new legal entities in Europe for the divested business called Acoustic. In the transition period pending close in Europe, IBM employees in scope to transfer to Acoustic will work exclusively in support of the Acoustic business. At the close of the divestiture in Europe, the IBM employee in this role will transfer automatically under law to Acoustic and will cease to be an IBM employee. An Inside Sales Representative You will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. Candidates must be comfortable working in a team selling environment with primary tasks being pipeline build, lead development, and running full sales cycle activities. Daily tasks include making dozens of calls, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects, as well as running sales motions when appropriate.
Acoustics mission is to help marketers transcend the mediocrity in the marketing cloud landscape with modern tools, connected data, and a focus on marketings biggest problems. Acoustic has been formed from IBM's Marketing Software unit to form the only independent, full scale marketing cloud entirely dedicated to marketers needs.


Your Role and Responsibilities
Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
Understand and qualify customer needs and requirements
Team with Account Executive and Channel Partner Rep to build pipeline and close deals
Achieve quarterly quotas for qualified leads passed
Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
Maintain and expand a database of prospects within assigned territory
When appropriate, perform effective online demos to prospects and manage the end to end sales process



Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Experience with inside sales and/or lead development experience with a proven track record of success
Experience finding and qualifying complex enterprise SaaS opportunities
Experience selling services to the C-Suite of clients and guiding clients through the purchasing process
Ability to assess customer business needs and relationships with qualitative and quantitative approaches
Ability to work collaboratively with Channel Business Partners

Fluent in English , written and oral (as well another European language such as Italian French or Spanish will be considered advantageous )


Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Hunter with a challenger mindset
Experience in marketing or advertising software sales preferred.
Passion for sales and marketing and willing to try and learn new things.
Independent worker able to do effective account/contact research and with a strong phone presence
Excellent verbal and written communications skills across all channels of communication
Strong collaboration and teaming skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
