Partner Marketing Manager UKI

Cisco Systems Inc.
Feltham, England TW13 4

The purpose of this role is to accelerate business via Marketing. Primarily based in our Feltham Office, you will work with 10 or so businesses (Partners) based across the UK that sell Cisco's solutions, developing year-long Marketing plans that align to the overall business plan and focus on the mid and small business segment. You'll use both your extensive Marketing knowledge and all that Cisco Marketing has to offer (people - Marketing and content experts, and content, assets and services) to develop these plans. You will look for opportunities to intertwine Cisco and the Partner's Marketing plans so that both companies benefit.

You are someone who is passionate about keeping tabs on the latest trends, tactics, and ideas in Marketing, and keen to share your knowledge with our partners, enabling them to deliver successful marketing campaigns.

To support the execution of the Marketing plans, you'll manage budget allocation. You'll also review the Partners results and reporting. The role requires regular travel to partners office locations across the UK.

Who You'll Work With

You will report to the UKI Partner Marketing Leader and will work with Cisco's Partner Account Managers to ensure the Marketing plan is aligned to the overall business plan. You'll work together, through the year, to ensure Sales and Marketing stay aligned and driving results.

You'll learn from and share with your peers across Cisco Marketing, whether they work in Partner Marketing or in other areas. And you will be happy to become involved in various projects across Cisco Marketing to make a real contribution to the overall success of our team.

Your success will be measured both by Marketing results (monetary value of Sales Qualified Leads and Marketing Sourced Bookings), and by your business relationship skills. This is a marketing role that has a real and measurable impact on our and our partner's business.

Who You Are

If you love Marketing and know what you're talking about, are curious about how other companies operate and how two companies can work together, and want to work in an enormous - and highly creative - organisation, this could be the job for you.

You are a Marketer and you keep up to date with the latest thinking.

You have a positive attitude. You like to try something new, fail or succeed you'll learn and move on.

Your natural working style is to be inclusive and communicative.

You are happy to take the lead on a project or initiative, and you love working in a team. You don't mind who reports to whom. You want to get the job done and enjoy doing it.

You are comfortable building business relationships, and communicating at all levels - both at Cisco and our partners.

You know that there are some parts of your job that just have to be done, and administration is just one of those things.

You're good at building and maintaining working relationships.

You've probably worked in the Technology industry.

You might have worked for a global company.

You can travel within the UK and Ireland.
