Job Description
PwC's US Finance organization is a strategic business advisor responsible for managing the firm's financial risk, including: financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and assisting leadership with strategic and tactical matters. Services include: budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting needs, data and analytics related to portfolio performance, shared services and financing. Finance works daily with US Leadership, engagement partners and managers on managing the profitability of engagements and the overall business portfolio. Finance also works closely with the Network on portfolio management and investment decisions and has assisted other PwC Network firms regionalize their financial operations. Finance also analyzes potential acquisitions, joint ventures, partnerships and divestitures, assisting with all integration and separation matters likely to arise.

The Partner Tax Preparation Advisor program (PTPA)
team is a national group comprised of dedicated tax
professionals who serve as trusted advisors that provide
tax compliance and tax planning guidance to the owners
of PwC, both Partners and Principals, across the US.

Position/Program Requirements
Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 4

Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree

Certification(s) Required: CPA, Enrolled Agent, or Active Member of the Bar.

Degree Preferred: Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Accounting or other related fields, such as Business, Finance, etc.

Knowledge Preferred:

Demonstrates extensive knowledge and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

- Understanding individual tax compliance/review and planning for executives including but not limited to partnership K-1 income, state tax credits, composite returns, AMT, Schedules A, B, C, D, E, and year end planning; and,

- Understanding of professional service environments and leveraging a network to service your clients.

Skills Preferred:

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

- Reviewing individual tax returns and tax planning;
- Working with and managing team members virtually;
- Building and maintaining client relationships at the executive level;
- Managing and leading teams to create an atmosphere of trust;
- Seeking diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation;

- Coaching staff including providing timely meaningful written and verbal feedback;
- Identifying and addressing client tax issues;
- Identifying a broad range of financial planning issues that are applicable to the Partner and directing them to the appropriate internal resources for assistance;
- Demonstrating project management and communication skills including managing resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing and collections;
- Preparing and/or coordinating complex written and verbal material;
- Managing and supporting the work/life balance of the team;

- Working within various tax preparation software;
- Using on-line tax organizers;
- Assisting executives in understanding and using various proprietary software and websites;
- Using Google tools, including, Sheets, Docs, Slides, etc,;
- Researching complex individual tax issues; and,
- Leading on-going change and leveraging new technology.
