Payroll and Logistic Analyst

Linn, TX 78563

+ Process through an automated Time and Attendance System (Kronos), the hours worked by all OTE employees working at Barceloneta and Vega Baja sites in Puerto Rico in accordance with the Puerto Rico Labor Laws, Pfizer Policies and Procedures and the applicable Federal Laws. In addition, the execution of the release of supplies, materials, and equipment through PR Treasury Department systems (such as "SURI").


**Payroll Process :**

+ Manage the attendance system (Kronos iCloud) system.

+ Ensure colleagues are properly setup in system

+ Reconcile Kronos data and ensure alignment with transmission file

+ Review completeness of colleague time cards

+ Perform payroll related reviews to ensure adherence with policies and procedures

+ Process any adjustment into ADP Rapid Pay

+ Monitor escalated colleague-facing work open tickets with HR service center and take personal ownership for ensuring that they are resolved in a timely and effective manner.

+ Train Kronos end-users as needed.

+ Monitor Excess Vacation and send the metrics to Supervisors.

+ Fill out the following documents (a) Sinot Forms; (b) Social Security Forms; (c) Workmen Compensation; (d) Employee Verification

+ Provide management payroll information as requested.

+ Manage any supplemental payments such as: Special Awards, Reimbursements and quarterly premium bonus.

+ Maintain adequate documentation as per record retention policies

+ Send to ADP any Garnishment, Levy or Court order received and confirm they process it in a timely manner.

+ Prepare and share Payroll/HC related metrics with different stakeholders

**Process Improvements & Projects**

+ Immediately report and conduct a root cause analysis for all operational and/or process breakdowns. Recommend and implement improvement plans to prevent recurrence.

+ Participate in meetings and perform testing required for all upgrades & implementations to our Kronos systems.

**Logistic Activities**

+ Review Hacienda importation system (SURI) and ensure all imported inventory is properly declared and cleared.

+ Determine any tax due related to imported inventory and process payments

+ Maintain adequate records supporting all inventory imports

+ Support problem resolution and involve adequate parties as needed to ensure prompt release of the shipment

+ Support master data setup as needed


+ Perform Stop Payment in Web Cash Manager Banco Popular System as requested by Corporate Payroll.

+ Confirm with the sites, HR Departments the application of proper pay practices and Salary Continuance Policy.

+ Support Corporate Payroll and GFS in helping the clearance of errors or open items in the cash reconciliation.

+ Supply evidence of payments made on behalf of colleagues as requested by any PR or US Government entity like garnishments data.

+ Work with Corporate Payroll and ADP for continuous improvements and help to develop corrective action for on-going operations efficiency

+ Support HR, Legal, Finance and Benefits Team

+ Support in the External and Internal Audit in providing information related to payroll test and other request.


Inside the Company:

+ Corporate Payroll, UGS-Puerto Rico Team Leaders, HR, Procurement, GFSS, Corporate Audit, Puerto Rico Treasury and Carriers. Frequent communication with sites colleagues, supervisors (TL), managers and HR representatives.

Outside the Company:

+ Occasional communication with external Auditors, Lawyers, Government, Banco Popular de Puerto Rico, Brokers (Customs), and Puerto Rico Treasury Department.



+ Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Material Management or Human Resources


+ Minimum of 3-year experience individually in: HR/Payroll/Time and Attendance; SURI system (Puerto Rico Treasury); and working with procurement, warehouse or logistic in the release of shipments.


**Technical Skills**

+ Systems oriented (Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, etc.)

+ Understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices

+ Good Knowledge of legislation and regulations

+ Proficient in relevant software (e.g. Kronos, ADP)

+ Knowledgeable in SURI system


+ Team player and ability to work in a fast-paced work environment

+ Ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instructions

+ Good written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English

+ Ability to work independently, manages multiple priorities, and solves problems

+ Good interpersonal skills, team work oriented

+ Able to perform multiple tasks and comply with deadlines
