The ideal candidate will have experience with payroll process, be organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and a team player

with a variety of experience working in a fast-paced environment. The Payroll Specialist will ensure timely and accurate payroll

processing which is in compliance with statutory regulations while providing a high level of customer service to all employees. This

position reports to the Director of Stock Programs and Payroll

Responsibilities
    • Process weekly payroll and assist Payroll Manger in processing regular semi-monthly payroll for US Employees
    • Review preliminary payroll data for accuracy and research and resolve payroll issues to ensure all changes to payroll are
    • processed correctly
    • Manage updates to payroll and payroll imports into ADP Workforce Now, including master file and pay data additions and
    • changes
    • Administer processing on time tracking systems, including but not limited to reviewing/auditing timesheets, follow up
    • with employees and managers regarding submitting/approving time as well as assisting employees/managers with
    • timesheet entry related inquiries
    • Calculate new hire pay, termination pay, and any required adjustment to normal pay or for manual checks
    • Prepare, post and balance payroll information including hours, wages, bonuses, deductions, garnishments, including
    • direct deposit changes and tax changes
    • Track and reconcile sick and vacation balances
    • Assist with preparation of various payroll and management reports including weekly 401(k) contribution file for timely
    • reporting to 401(k) administrator
    • Partner with HR and Benefits team and Finance-Accounting team
    • Work closely with outside service providers, such as ADP
    • Serve as a backup to the Payroll Manager for the full payroll cycle and handle all key payroll processing functions
    • Respond quickly and accurately to employee inquiries regarding payroll/paycheck inquiries
    • Additional Responsibilities supporting Finance/Accounting
    • Perform other special projects and analyses as directed by management


Qualifications
    • Strong proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook and analytical skills
    • Excellent attention to details
    • Advanced level experience with ADP Workforce Now (WFN) and ADP Enterprise eTime
    • Understanding of imports/uploads, exports and ADP reporting tool
    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Ability to handle sensitive information professionally and maintain confidential matters
    • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work well under time pressure
    • Ability to maintain effective working relationships and work effectively as a team member
    • Process improvement mentality strongly preferred
