Job Description

The PBNA Supply Chain Warehouse IT Application Solution Architect will function as subject matter expert that will specialize in evaluating business requirements and turn them into solutions, products, or services for PBNA Supply Chain, specifically the Warehouse Operations space. The position was created as a result of the BCG / IT PBNA DevOps org design process.

Major responsibilities are to respond to ART events and processes and assist the teams in delivering value through strategic thinking, solution delivery and through production support operational readiness. Solution Architect will communicate with RTEs, Product Owners, stakeholders, escalate impediments, help manage risk, and drive solution delivery. In this role you will manage the technical requirements and design of a process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Organize strategic design activities ensuring completion of the project/product to meet the demand & schedule constraints. Escalate any risks or issues where the work of systems analysis and program staff, developers and technical support cannot meet project expectations or requirements.

  • Determining ways to streamline internal PBNA Warehouse operations, while overseeing business change requests
  • Analyzing and guidance implementing PBNA Warehouse application solutions
  • Provide technical guidance to DevOps application development teams during solution design and construction phases
  • Providing one on one training and mentoring to junior team members
  • Technically operating as a member of the PBNA Warehouse Agile DevOps team to achieve business goals




Bachelors Degree in IT or related field

  • 5+ years Project management experience
  • 5+ years Technical Solutions architecture experience
  • 1+ years solid comprehension of Lean-Agile frameworks, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
  • 3+ years Agile product strategic thinking, analysis and development
  • Strong experience in Program and Project Solutions in an enterprise software development & deployment environment
  • Cloud solution architecture, infrastructure development and deployment experience
  • Prior experience as an IT Solutions Architect is a significant plus
  • SAFe certification as an Agilist also a significant plus
  • Strong collaboration skills with ability to form working relationships with technical teams, system architects, product owners, business owners, and executives.
