Position Summary

The Digital Marketing Specialist will assist in the planning, development, implementation and monitoring of the digital activation strategy for each of the business units that target investor and borrower audiences. They will also support and/or manage the day-to-day operations of the firms global digital marketing needs, inclusive of the website, email campaigns, social media content creation, content management systems and other digital initiatives. A data-driven mindset is important, as well as critical-thinking around how various digital initiatives and platforms tie together to create a holistic client experience, both internally and externally.


Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Drive the implementation of comprehensive digital marketing strategies
  • Assist in the planning, development, and execution of digital and online-related daily marketing updates, alongside longer-term campaigns and promotions
  • Comfortable working with team members at all levels, including senior management
  • Collaborate with management, team members and compliance group to help define policies, processes and procedures to further drive efficiencies and performance for key stakeholders


  • Monitor the health and growth of company website, supporting its maintenance and the deployment of new website features, monitoring and addressing any technical issues that may arise, and adding new content to support channel activities (news, biography updates, press releases, thought leadership, etc.)
  • Establish and track meaningful metrics to inform future strategy and content creation


  • Assist in the creation and management of e-mail campaigns at the individual, business unit, and corporate levels
  • Manage, maintain and work with business units to leverage contact mailing lists
  • Establish and track meaningful campaign metrics; reporting on findings to inform long-term email campaign strategy
Social Media

  • Create social media content for individual team members and company-wide social channels
  • Keep current on the social media advertising and engagement industry and propose new ideas to further enhance campaign tactics and capabilities
  • Work with business units to develop social media strategy and goals



  • University/College degree in Marketing, Communications or Social Media/Digital Management is desired
  • 2-4 years of experience in a marketing function, preferably in real estate, asset management or finance, with awareness of all elements of the digital marketing mix
  • Experience working with content management systems (CMS); Drupal and/or Seismic is a plus
  • Experience working with email marketing platforms; Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a plus
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong copyediting and proofreading skills
  • Experience with a variety of social media platforms and analytics tools (i.e. Google Analytics, LinkedIn, Twitter) is desired
  • Experience working in a collaborative team environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Proficiency with Adobe InDesign & Illustrator is a plus
  • Experience with email marketing platforms is a plus (ieMailchimp, Salesforces Marketing Cloud, Constant Contact, etc).
  • Ability to work well with cross-functional teams and prioritize time
  • Flexible, self-starter able to cope with ambiguity, and willing to embrace change
