Cisco seeks a Systems Engineer to join the team in a pre-sales technical role, showcasing Cisco product solutions, setting up demonstrations and explaining features and benefits to customers-and crafting and configuring solutions to meet specific customer needs. Gain access to the portfolio of Cisco technologies and applications in a variety of vertical markets.

What You'll Do?




Direct account and partner responsibilities for selected accounts in your territory. Keep up-to-date on business critical solutions, products and services. Provide technical and sales support for accounts in assigned territory Perform technical presentations for customers, partners and prospects.




2+ years-related experience in Data Center, Security, Unified Communications or Networking. Cisco product experience or relevant experience in key competitor offerings in technology area of emphasis required. Pre-Sales experience required. Typically requires BS/BA (EE/CS) or equivalent.




1.Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, and strong presentation skills.




2. Ability to work effectively and make valuable contributions to the team. Demonstrate technical knowledge and consultative skills.




3. Strong analytical skills: ability to assess a problem and recommend an effective course of action.




4. Knowledge of baseline SE skills and knowledge in specific technology.




5. Knowledge and or operating experience in one of the following area's of specialization: Routing & Switching, Security, Data Center, Virtualization. Unified Communications, Collaboration




6. Knowledge of solutions sets that are relevant to our customers, product line specifications, performance criteria and applications.




7. Competitor knowledge including solution, technology and product offerings.




8. Understanding and conversant about company, solutions and product strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.




9. Industry recognized Certification is preferred.




Who You'll Work With?




You will support Account Managers, Specialists, Partners, and Customers within your specific territory. Actively participate as a technical resource on your assigned Virtual Team and provide consultative support in your area of specialization to other Systems Engineers.
