Overall Purpose: This career step requires expert level experience. Responsible for cyber security areas across products, services, infrastructure, networks, and/or applications while providing protection for AT&T, our customers and our vendors/partners. Works with senior team members on various projects relating to the protection of devices, customers, assets, data, information technology, and networks. Supports innovation, strategic planning, technical proof of concepts, testing, lab work, and various other technical program management related tasks associated with the cyber security programs.


Key Roles and Responsibilities: Includes ideation, testing, proof of concept and support for various cyber related projects. Analysis, of complex security issues and the development and engineering activities to help mitigate risk. Analyzes various hardware and/or software solutions recommending purchases and identifying modifications to fit AT&T's cyber security needs and that of our managed services teams. Develops policies and procedures to minimize network intrusion, malware events and vulnerability issues for internal and external customers. Applies measures to block malicious code and applications. Includes forward looking research, planning and strategy to strengthen our stance against future cyber security threats, and enhance our mitigation techniques and technology solutions. Areas of work include, but are not limited to: Cyber Incident Response, cyber product testing, cyber risk & strategic analysis, cyber research, cyber awareness & training, cyber vulnerability detection & assessment, cyber intelligence & investigation, cyber networks & systems engineering, cyber security application testing, cyber digital forensics & forensics analysis, cyber software assurance, cyber business operations & support, cyber application development & testing, cyber operational support, cyber IoT planning & testing, cyber policy & requirements & standards.


The position will provide a deep understanding of WarnerMedias networks and architecture, deep understanding of security architecture concepts, and advise both the team and key stakeholders on the best path to securing new and existing network infrastructure. This team lead member will serve as a technical architecture expert and advisor- capable of designing and embedding network security controls into new and existing architectures. This position will also support all WarnerMedia network affiliate projects in flight. The candidate filling this position will serve as the primary CSO Network Security Architect and will therefore be responsible for interfacing with affiliate teams to define network security baseline requirements for routers, firewalls, switches, wireless, VPN, and load-balancers, ensuring each phase of network integration adheres to WarnerMedia process, and validates compliance of network device configurations. In addition, this role will also have responsibilities including enterprise cloud network security.


Responsibilities Include:


55% As a lead member of the network security team, the candidate would be expected to not only actively participate in design and deployments, architectural reviews, risk assessments, and some operational tasks, they will also be responsible for leading fellow CSO network security architects in developing a trusted affiliate integration model that can be standardized across all WarnerMedia affiliates. The primary focus of this role will be on WarnerMedia affiliate network integrations both domestically and internationally. Responsibilities for this role include working with affiliate leadership and project managers to ensure that each phase of network integration aligns with WarnerMedia policies, standards, and baselines; working with affiliate network teams to architect network integrations that leverage identity and endpoint posture controls; integrating network connections with the WarnerMedia extranets; integration of affiliate remote user access VPN with the WarnerMedia VPN infrastructure; providing affiliates with automated compliance report findings and scorecards; assisting affiliates with firewall security policy migrations to ensure alignment with WarnerMedia firewall baseline configuration; working with project teams on Gap remediation efforts for affiliate routers, switches, load balancers, VPN, wireless and firewalls.


15% This position will assist with network security architectural review for cloud service providers including Azure, GCP, and AWS. These reviews will focus on network constructs that support business requirements while ensuring appropriate network security controls have been provisioned in accordance with cloud service provider baselines.


15% This position supports creating documentation for security baselines and security-focused configuration guides, designing and implementing secure architectures for a variety of uses cases, and participating in large-scale projects across multiple WarnerMedia brands


15% This position will work with vendors to assess network security product offerings, creating compliance-based reports on routers, switches, VPN, wireless, firewalls, and load balancers across all WarnerMedia network infrastructure.


**Accreditation, Certification, or Licenses** : ISSP, CCNP, PCNSE, or Equivalent


**Job Contribution:** Expert level technical professional. Advisor on technical knowledge and ATT technologies.


**Education:** Preferred Bachelors degree in information systems, Engineering, Mathematics or Cyber Security or equivalent experience.


**Experience:** Typically requires 8-10 years experience. Technical Career Pathway (TCP) role.


**Supervisory:** No.


**Required Skills** :


+ 6 or more years workingin network and/or network security

+ Extensive knowledge ofnetwork security devices including firewalls, VPN, and load balancers

+ Extensive knowledge ofrouting, switching, and wireless

+ Expert level experiencein working with Palo Alto Network products

+ Advanced networkcertification such as CCIE, CCNP, or PCNSE
