The Principal Product Representatives identifies and coordinates opportunities to innovate or deploy solutions that are both reusable in application and compounding in value. The Principal Product Representative delivers value to the organization by clarifying objectives and business needs associated with partner requests and maximizing Maker time for fulfillment resources. This value is realized by collaborating with partners on using existing solutions and driving the collaborative development of new solutions. This way, fulfillment teams can invest their time in developing solutions that allow our organization to be more efficient and effective.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Support UHG R&D business with sales demos of our Tools and assets
  • Facilitate adoption of new features and processes by creating user-friendly documentation, conducting training sessions, proactively identifying gaps and translating them into actionable items
  • Advocate for the tools / processes / platforms to ensure all stakeholders understand the proper process for maintaining, using and engaging (e.g. conduct training and educational demonstrations)
  • Critically evaluate stakeholder needs and create or apply technical capabilities to facilitate execution and/or develop strategy for technical enhancements
  • Continuously learn and grow the breadth and depth of business and technology knowledge

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or Information Systems OR an equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training
  • 5+ years of product management experience
  • 1+ years of experience using Jupyter notebook
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and diagraming tools (Visio or similar)
  • Understanding of business Intelligence, business analytics, data warehousing, data acquisition, big data engineering or analytics, or some combination of data and technical platforms.
  • Excellent communication and technical writing skills, able to articulate business and technical details with varying degrees of specificity depending on the audience
  • You will be asked to perform this role in an office setting or other company location
  • Employees are required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener prior to entering the work site each day, in order to keep our work sites safe. Employees must comply with any state and local masking orders. In addition, when in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are expected to wear a mask in areas where physical distancing cannot be attained

  • Exposure to health care system data (clinical health information systems, EHR, Health Insurance systems)
