Your goal is to create the ultimate online destination for customers who turn to Jet.com and Walmart.com for their shopping needs.City:SAN BRUNOState:CAPosition Description:Challenges youll be tackling

Own your brand: You will be responsible for the business performance (financial performance, site analytics) of your brand(s) across all categories Jet.com and Walmart.com, and all other relevant eCommerce platforms.

Be the brand champion: Be responsible for bringing our Private Brand assortment to life online by developing enriched and elevated content and educating our customers through brand pages and other site experiences. You will also be responsible for educating those within the company about why OUR brands are the best.

Work with marketing, site merchandising to build your brand and educate our customer: You will be working alongside embedded marketing, site merchandising, and the Retail teams to determine what your brand looks like, how products are featured and displayed and developing marketing plans to drive additional awareness to our brands.

Manage supplier relationships: Our brands success hinges on our relationships with our suppliers. You will work closely with suppliers to develop joint plans on how to bring our brands to life online.
You own it: Brand Specialists are the business owners for a Walmart private brand. Your job is to blend art with science, combining your creative intuition, analytical skills, and passion for helping our customers to create the best shopping experience.
You drive it: World-class interpersonal and persuasion skills will be required as you will be collaborating with buyers and coordinating cross-functional teams to make sure we sell what customers want. You will need to start with the customer and work backwards, decoding their needs and journeys.
You lead it: Have an idea? Go for it. You will work within a world-class team of collaborative colleagues and have access to industry-leading merchandising tools and technology to help test and validate your ideas.
Responsibilities:
Be an expert in all systems and processes required to manage your brand
Own brand financial targets (e.g. GMV and margin), and identify (and execute upon) levers to achieve those targets
Continually evolve the brands assortment strategy through in-market expertise (which may need to be self-taught), and manage any assortment gaps to develop online exclusive items
Begin to own supplier relationships autonomously

Responsibilities:
Be an expert in all systems and processes required to manage your brand

Continually evolve the brands assortment strategy through in-market expertise (which may need to be self-taught), and manage any assortment gaps to develop online exclusive items

Manage on-site product presentation and catalog to ensure that new items launch on-time for key drive periods
Work with across the company to develop best-in class content for our Private Brands
Collaborate with marketing teams around category promotions

Previous internship or work experience is preferred
Passion for eCommerce, retail, and brand marketing
