What You'll Do

You will join the product management team within Cisco Experience Product Management organization, and you will play a key role in defining and delivering our Managed and As-a-Service product portfolios. Our offers enable partners and enterprises to quickly adopt new technologies and rapidly scale their businesses globally via our ability to monitor, manage, and provide a turnkey service globally.

As a Product Manager, you will responsible for several areas of the managed services offers where success is determined by value proposition and financial pro forma realization. As a Product manager, youll be the steward for offers achieving their financial objectives, including bookings, revenue, and margin, by defining the initial business plan and aligning cross functional team execution toward meeting/exceeding the plans.

Consistent with Product Management best practices, youll lead strategy through execution for the life of your offers. Of note, you will work with customers and partners to understand their business needs. You will translate those into business requirements and collaborate closely with internal cross-functional teams to deliver the final product.

This position is desired to be staffed in Raleigh, NC however other US based locations will be considered and will involve some travel in future (mostly domestic, likely not exceed 10%).

 

What you'll be responsible for:

       Understand the Managed and as a Services product motions and their respective competitive space, working closely with other Cx Product Manager and the product BU to ensure alignment of our offers.

       Analyze market trends to identify the mid & long-term business opportunity

       Understand customers, their business needs, and the overall ecosystem to define offer enhancements that will delight our customers and benefit our shareholders.

       Translate customer needs into detailed user stories working with our TME team and build offer requirements that serve as an ultimate reference for anyone interested in the offer.

       Work within the PM team to make data-driven decisions and prioritize between multiple opportunities competing for resources. Achieve alignment of stakeholders across the organization all the way up to senior executives.

       As part of the product management team, work closely with engineering and other delivery teams at every stage of the product development lifecycle.

       Measure the success of our undertakings by identifying and tracking key metrics.

       Work with other CX product management teams to align and drive innovation and competitive differentiation to extend product value proposition for target operators and their customers.

Who You'll Work With

In this role, youll work intimately with various roles in Cx Product Management, across Cisco overall, and cross functionally with colleagues in CX product management, sales, Global Partner organization, business development, Cisco engineering, and other groups to help create and maintain an aligned and simplified portfolio. Externally, youll regularly interface with 3rd party vendors, service providers and their enterprise customers to leverage capabilities and understand business needs. You will simply own your product end to end, and you will lead the delivery through cross-functional teams.

You have excellent leadership, business acumen, and soft skills along with supporting customer experience, market knowledge, and technical skills. You can comfortably interact with senior VPs as well as engineers. Finally, you gain fulfillment from business transformation and exceptional results with an entrepreneurial mindset.

What you'll need:

       3+ years of services product management experience, ideally on XaaS products.

       Strong understanding/experience of Enterprise networking, Infrastructure & Cloud Services market.

       A deep understanding of managed services & Operate services.

       Excellent analytical and organizational skills, strong problem-solving ability and high level of dedication

       Experienced in participating or leading cross functional projects & teams

       Excellent critical thinking skills and demonstrated ability to make data-driven decisions.

       Strong leadership skills, and a track record of working on cross functional teams.

       Demonstrated experience of working closely with customers and/or business partners

       High level knowledge of Infrastructure and Cloud services, wireless networks, and other Cloud technologies.

       Excellent communication skills including ability to persuasively deliver presentations to senior executives, partners and customers.
