Cisco is the global leader in networking, security, and collaboration solutions for Enterprise and Service provider customers. Cisco is going through a major transformation towards Software and Services where Ciscos Customer Experience (CX) organization is an enabler to deliver business outcomes faster to our customers. CX is developing and innovating Services Success portfolio across the lifecycle of customer journey and needs ranging from Advise, Implement, Use, Adopt, and Optimize.


Customer Experience (CX) xDomain Product Management team focuses on Automation and Analytics solutions across the architectures and segments such as Enterprise Networking, Data Center and Cloud, Service Provider, Security, and Collaboration. This job opening is for a CX xDomain Product Management leadership role to identify the business needs and solution gaps and then lead the build and adoption of CX Solutions and Services leading to successful business outcomes.

This is a PM senior leadership position in one of the most visible areas of Ciscos transformation to a software business and will work with key executives and teams across different CX organizations, Business units, Sales, and Customers.


What You'll Do:

  • Champion your product
  • Drive vision, strategy and execution of xDomain solutions with a focus on Automation and Analytics aligned to Cisco initiatives and industry leading trends
  • Lead multiple teams focused on different aspects of the business including product management, ecosystem solution development, strategy and operations
  • Research, Conceptualize, Architect, Build and deliver xDomain solutions and service offers.
  • Develop offers for CX Success Portfolio including Solution competitive positioning, pricing, business and technical value differentiators. 
  • Work across BEs and Architecture Product Managers for alignment of CX xDomain solutions with BU products and CX Offers.
  • Partner closely with CX-Engineering, Field and Customers to ensure alignment with CX-Cloud and offer flexible deployment models including both On-prem and CX Cloud hosted.
  • Lead the build of Solution and Services for Automation & Analytics Use Cases such as Device OS compliance and upgrades, Infrastructure & Architecture migrations and Security Orchestration.
  • Lead the strategy and solution build to enable telemetry for CX solutions and services
  • Ensure world class UX delivery by partnering with Engineering, Field and Customers
  • Drive Reusability and Field incubation by working with CX Engineering, CX Centers, Geo Delivery teams and Customers and lead the constant enrichment of CX xDomain Solutions
  • Lead technical discussions for the xDomain Automation & Analytics Solutions and Services 
  • Work with Field Architects and initial Pilot Customers to validate and proof our solution, enable the field and our customers
  • Work with marketing, go-to-market and sales teams to ensure the right communication, training and content is developed and delivered
  • Develop training content, lead content delivery and enablement plans for Sales, Field Delivery and Customers enablement
  • Foster partner ecosystem around different lifecycle areas (build, sell, customer delivery, and support)
  • Provide leadership to team members on industry practices, technologies, and third-party solutions to build industry-leading offerings.
  • Work with various cross-functional groups such as Product Management Architecture teams (e.g. ENT/IBN, Cloud & Compute, Security), CX Engineering, Product Business Units, Sales and Customers
  • Ensure solution alignment through various investment stages. Be prepared to present to executive panels a 360 view.
  • Drive product roadmap and prioritize new features and defects based on feedback from all domains.
  • Define new requirements and refine existing requirements from internal and external groups.
  • Continually evaluate the features against customer needs to ensure we are meeting expectations and building world-class solutions.
  • Develop content for strategy around your solution.  


Who You Are:


A motivated self-starter with a bias for action. You have a proven track record in performing well in a fast-paced environment and organizational skills to learn quickly and understand complex technologies in concise terms of technological and business value. You have a strong executive presence, cross-group collaboration, and communication skills that drive influence among the senior leaders across a highly matrixed organization



Experience and Technical Skills

  • 10+ years of experience across Product Management, Marketing, Strategy or Engineering functions in a software or services business operating at scale 
  • At least 3 years of experience with a successful track record of conceptualizing, building, launching and managing Automation and Analytics solutions in Cloud and on-prem environments
  • Prior experience in IT, Network or Security Management and Analytics, Software Defined Networking
  • Prior experience in working with Channel and ISV partners driving a partner or ecosystem model
  • Familiarity with routing, switching, security and mobility networks or related management, services and SDN applications
  • Familiarity with Enterprise, and or Service Provider markets and customers
  • Proven ability to lead the vision, strategy, business planning, and driving execution at a large installed base product, business unit or company level
