Auto req ID: 257049BR Job Description This role is for a Product Manager within the Ordering and Merchandising team in the Commercial area of the PBNA (PepsiCo North America Beverages) sector. The application portfolio is highly critical and supports selling functions such as pre-sell ordering, perfect store, merch scheduling, merchandising and frontline manager functions such as coaching and dispatch assist. The Product Manager is a passionate leader looking for new solutions for the business, who truly enjoys working with a team, designing and delivering great products. The product manager will be responsible for defining and executing IT capabilities roadmap, budget management, IT delivery team management, vendor management, release management and e2e solution design in line with the enterprise architecture framework to deliver business solutions. The Product Manager must have strong knowledge of CPG industry and Go-To-Market experience so that they can create a multi-year product vision and a rolling roadmap. This role is directly accountable for governing the application managed services (AMS) team in partnership with the application support lead and maintaining a streamlined product backlog by balancing system enhancements, stability and business continuity features. The product manager will be responsible for collaborating with other cross-functional teams to support organization-wide initiatives and manage impact to the ordering and merchandizing. The product manager will be accountable for coaching/mentoring junior team members, implementing DevSecOps/ Agile framework and drive consistent methodology usage across the Commercial portfolio. Accountabilities: Collaborate with business partners and team leadership on identifying needs and requirements and defining and managing product backlog inclusive of enhancements, bug fixes and stability features Collaborate with stakeholders; and understand changing customer expectations to create the (multi-year) Vision and product Roadmap Collaborate with other cross-functional /organization-wide initiatives to manage impact to the ordering and merchandizing applications and create a consolidated plan for efficient tracking of progress and risk management. Lead the backlog prep, prioritization and define release plans, identify funding needs and work on budget approvals. Lead the SOW/CR process with vendors to deliver the defined scope per release and collaborate with support teams to bring synergies. Work closely with the IT Lead to stay in line with business goals and ensure the features are properly described and prioritized Partner with other IT teams, project teams and vendors in a managed services model on projects and operational support related items as applicable including work intake and end user communication. Create and maintain project plans and milestones; raise risks and identify mitigation plans for issues. Participate in release management for the order and merchandizing team. Good written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate directly with IT and business leaders. Working knowledge of the technical components related to the applications and the ability to translate into simple business language. Constantly develop new skills in the field of new ways of working and ensure customer focus and solve for business challengesKey Relationships: Partner with broader Commercial team to gain system knowledge and participate in common initiatives. Interact with business users to create and support stable and effective solutions. Partners with the external vendors and subject matter experts to delivery business solutions. Partner with other IT teams, vendors and managed services teams internal and external Qualifications/Requirements Bachelor's degree 10+ years professional experience including supporting business application delivery and/or operations and/or consulting experience Good knowledge of business and a deep, tactical way of thinking Good knowledge and understanding of the software development process Knowledge of business analysis and consultancy skills and structured communication to drive processes and product development forward. Practical knowledge of technology, solution architecture and coaching tools in team management Basic understanding of SAP, MS Azure DevOps, custom iOS and web app development lifecycle Hands-on experience as a Product manager/Product owner in implementing Salesforce Salesforce certified professional with good understanding of Salesforce configuration and customization. Mandatory Non-Technical Skills Leadership experience in large scale program or cross-functional initiative Excellent communicator and facilitator for all levels within the organization and people with various backgrounds and personalities Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong people leadership, influencing/negotiation, coaching/facilitation skills Strong risk management and dependency management abilities Demonstrated knowledge of the change management activities Preferred Experiences: Differentiating Competencies: Deep and broad knowledge of Go To Market and DSD functions in a CPG domain Certification/Familiarity with Scaled Agile and DevOps Continuous Integration and Delivery expertise. Familiarity with applications in the PBNA legacy solutions Knowledge of relevant technologies in mobile solutions Strong experience in delivery of end to end enterprise design, development, and implementation, including integration across other functional areas Familiarity with custom mobile app development using Salesforce COVID-19 vaccination is a condition of employment for this role, effective December 31, 2021.
