*Role Summary*

Cox Communications is seeking a Product Manager to provide leadership for product strategy, development and deployment of trade-in & upgrade services. This person will be accountable for and serve as the authority on all aspects of the device trade-in & upgrade program. This includes defining simple & intuitive offers, product requirements, customer experience, launch activities, financial & operating metrics, enhancement priorities to drive utilization, and product roadmap. This person will be recognized as the top subject matter expert on trade-in, upgrade & device liquidation. Leads cross-functional teams by example, demonstrating passion, and drive to satisfy customer needs to optimize the customer experience through product innovation and/or improvements to internal organization, processes and technology. Provides mentorship and guidance to team members and associates.

*Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions*

* Responsible to deliver activities and tasks necessary for successful launch and achievement of business objectives. Contributes to planning, budgeting, resourcing and monitoring results.

* Review and manage inputs to maximize program performance and value.

* Guide and support cross-functional teams including marketing, sales and retail operations from ideation through the deployment of various program enhancements and promotions as the champion and owner of the initiative.

* Monitor competitive trade-in prices and marketing programs to generate business insights that guide product solutions.

* Drive achievement of rigorous KPIs, including (but not limited to):

* Consumer attach rate;

* Program profitability;

* Commissions management:

* Liquidation management

* Designing, coordinating, and improving the internal and external programs of the company that align to the strategic vision.

* Vendor management.

* Proven track-record implementing quality programs with a spirit of continuous improvement.

* High attention to detail including precise and effective customer communications and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.

* Achieving the highest possible return on the assets offered

* Building relationships with product buyers and creating interest in the products being offered

* Supporting continuous improvement and expansion of reverse operations program

* Work closely with Cox Marketing and OEM partners to develop and launch trade-in promotions.

* Have a strong understanding of the secondary device market.

* Analyze customer, business and product performance metrics and interpret underlying drivers to translate into data-based recommendations.

* Develop a documented product vision that aligns with and/or enhances customer needs, market and competitive trends and corporate strategy.

Qualifications: *Skills and Qualifications*


* 7 or more years of experience required in related field (e.g. Logistics, Marketing, Process Improvement, etc.)

* 5 or more years of experience required if candidate possesses a related advanced degree

* Previous employment with a carrier, OEM or logistics company working on device trade-in, upgrade, protection or liquidation programs

* Excellent interpersonal, collaborative and communication skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization.

* Familiarity with High-tech products warehousing, mobility devices distribution a plus

* Good motivator and communicator both verbally and through written instruction

* Knowledge or Certifications in Six Sigma or Lean Principles appreciated


* BS/BA degree in related discipline strongly desired (e.g. Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, etc.)

* Experience in telecommunications, logistics or high-tech environment
