*Role Summary*


Provides continuous and visible leadership for current product performance and future development and deployment plans; Accountable for and serves as an authority on all aspects of product portfolios lifecycle including: launch, customer experience, financial and operating metrics, enhancement priorities and product roadmaps; Recognized as subject matter expert on multiple products; Models passion and drive for change and/or enhancements to satisfy customer needs and optimize customer experience through product innovation and/or improvements to internal organization, processes and technology; Recommends resources to address/balance customer needs; Operates with considerable latitude for independent judgment; Negotiates issues with peers and 1st level Mgmt. to synthesize ideas and solutions that impact operational results.; May be responsible for product program(s) that involve single to multi-year plans; Develops, or provides guidance to develop, innovative solutions to highly complex matters; Provides influence and leadership to cross-functional teams and other stakeholders on ideas and solutions that impact industry and/or corporate results; Provides mentorship and guidance to team members and associates.


*Primary Responsibilities*




* Responsible to deliver activities and tasks necessary for successful product development and launch projects and achievement of business objectives. Contributes to planning, budgeting, resourcing, and monitoring results.

* Manage and review allocated budget and actual spend for product development and lifecycle activities.

* Guide and support cross-functional teams to move ideas through a project funnel from ideation through deployment as the champion and owner of the initiative.

* Developing as leader with respect to project development, team interactions, business insights and product management.

* May generate business insights which guide product solutions.

* Identify customer expectations and unmet needs with product and services to innovate and create solutions that address gaps and enhance customer experience. Directs product features from ideation through deployment.

* Analyze customer, business and product performance metrics and interpret underlying drivers to translate into data-based recommendations.

* Develop a documented product vision which aligns with and/or enhances customer needs, market and competitive trends and corporate strategy.

* Translate vision into clear and defined business requirements to drive functional specifications and technical requirements.

* Drive the development of business cases which define the product value proposition to support product and services roadmap investments in collaboration with business partners.

* Research and evaluate product performance to prioritize product improvements that optimize customer experience and strengthen financials.

* Facilitates communication amongst project leaders, peers and relevant department and cross-functional stakeholders to maintain alignment and awareness of current product state and vision.

* Create, sustain, and optimize operational practices and procedures to drive efficiencies.

* Monitors developments within the industry, vendor community and technology trends, and considers these in light of product roadmaps.

* Is a recognized leader and authority in the organization in a broad product group or in a narrow but specialized product.

* Researches customer needs to further the organizations objectives. Directs investigations of areas of considerable novelty and importance for which precedents are lacking in areas critical to the overall product program.

* Is consulted by associates and others with a high degree of reliance placed on his/her interpretations and advice.

* Contributes to recommendations to management regarding facilities, personnel, and funds required to carry out product programs that are directly related with and directed towards fulfillment of overall organizational objectives.

* Primary support of Hosted VoIP, UC/UCaaS, CCaaS and other telephony and collaboration services.

* Lead LBGUPS and facilitate process reviews in support of assigned products.

* Develop M&Ps, Job Aids in support of fulfillment and installation of assigned products.

* Provide technical expertise including M&Ps and job aids for configuration and troubleshooting of support product.

* Lead and or assist in POC and product/solution evaluation.

* Identify hardware requirements, dial plans, and migration strategies.

* Support hybrid and SIP tech and VOIP infrastructure systems, maintenance, and upgrades.





Qualifications: *Minimum*




* 7 or more years of experience required in related field (e.g. Product Management).

* 5 or more years of experience required if candidate possesses a related advanced degree.

* Technical


* Strong working knowledge of leading UCaaS solutions (Webex, M365/Teams, Zoom, Office 365).

* Strong working knowledge of leading Hosted VoIP/UCaaS Peripherals (handsets, headsets, cameras, etc.)

* Strong working knowledge of core telephony concepts such as signaling, codecs, dial plans, phone number manipulation, call routing.

* Good understanding of LAN/WAN concepts and supporting infrastructure.

* Experience with Enterprise Voice deployments and rollouts.

* Experience integrating IP and TDM based telephony solutions.

* Exceptional troubleshooting and analytical skills.

* Attitude, and demonstrated drive and desire to get things done.

* Previous experience in serving as an LBGUPS SME to the wider organization of boundary partners and markets for their assigned products and applications.

* Ability to convey the business value proposition of communication and collaboration.

* Demonstrated team player with excellent customer service attitude and team focus.

* Experience working in both a virtual, and structured environments.

* Demonstrated experience in developing technical and non-technical business requirements either in a waterfall or Agile environment.

* Demonstrated ability to work proactively and under pressure.

* Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written, with proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels up to Executive/Director level.

* BS preferred, associate degree in IT-related field required or 5 years of hands-on Communication and Collaboration voice experience.

* Experience consulting in Communication and Collaboration solutions with customers.

* Experience implementing Communication and Collaboration solutions with voice.

* Prior professional services/engineering experience preferred.

* Previous consulting experience with a leading consulting firm or Sales Engineering experience a plus.

* Lean Six Sigma Certification, iGrafix and ITIL Framework experience a plus.

* Experience managing numerous projects/initiatives simultaneously in a matrix organization highly desired.

* Industry certifications in the data networking, UC/cloud Voice space a plus.
