Corporate Counsel & Program Manager BMI Legal Operations

The BMI Legal Operations team is seeking an exceptional Corporate Counsel & Program Manager with experience to help the BMI Legal Operations team and other Legal teams supporting Cisco Sales, Finance and Operations implement strategic initiatives to build innovative and impactful ways to deliver legal services.

What You'll Do

As Corporate Counsel & Program Manager, you will help lead projects and transformational process improvement initiatives in all facets of the legal work supporting Ciscos commercial transactions. You will be adept at helping keep projects organized and on track by using data and producing dashboards and reports, as well as by utilizing your excellent communication skills to work with people at various levels of the Legal team and with business clients in Sales and Sales Ops, Commercial Finance and Cisco Operations. Youll help us review and maintain legal templates, plan implementation roadmaps, develop training materials and change management announcements, and build creative and professional communications. You will be a creative and strategic business-minded thinker able to work in a fast-paced environment; you will be someone who is energized to tackle challenging problems and reconcile disparate and competing perspectives. You love showing up every day with a creative mindset, ready to innovate.

Desired Skills and Experience

3-7 years of experience and Bachelor's Degree, JD preferred but not required

Cisco or other large tech company experience a plus

Prior experience within Legal, Marketing, Contract or Operations organizations a plus

Excellent verbal and written communication skills required, both at the peer and executive level

Excellent active listening skills

Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail

Proactive, self-motivated, and outcome-oriented

Ability to work well under pressure, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic global environment

Flexibility and willingness to work on a broad variety of legal matters

Strong project management skills and strategic thinker; ability to organize data, information, processes

Ability to develop and deliver diverse communications and visuals

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Powerpoint, Excel, Word, Smartsheets and other productivity tools.

A relationship builder that collaborates well with our high energy, hard-working colleagues

Desires to build a rewarding career with the Cisco Legal team

Ability to work in RTP or San Jose location
