This role will drive the cross-functional programs at the heart of that transformation. You will be a key member of the CTG Strategy, Planning and Operations team reporting to the Senior Manager of Strategy and Planning.

 

What Youll Do

Ciscos Collaboration Technology Group (CTG) is looking for an experienced program manager to drive strategic projects forward as part of our Collaboration acceleration initiatives.

 

You will work with the CTG Strategy, Planning and Operations team to:

  • Oversee status, rhythm, progress and ensure the strategic programs stay on track
  • Proactively identify dependencies and help clear risks and roadblocks before they become execution issues
  • Accurately report project status on a regular basis, feeding into larger program tracking channels to build the overall picture of execution
  • Ensure operational rigor by tying key performance indicators back to program deliverables, enabling a data-driven culture

You measure success in the impact of your programs and breadth of cross-functional contribution. Your experience includes:

  • Direct Program Management experience driving cross-functional planning sessions to set and align on scope, delivery dates, major milestones, and business outcomes. Developing and maintaining end-to-end program roadmaps including policy, process, technology, and change management activities. Tracking program progress against key milestones and deliverables. Identifying and driving closure to key business decisions. Actively managing program risks.
  • Extraordinary organization skills keeping all workstreams moving forward, tracking cross-functional dependencies, communicating status and risks, and staying on top of deadlines
  • Strong communication, analytical and people skills with strong problem-solving ability.

Core qualifications for this role

  • 10+ years of experience leading and participating in large cross-functional transformation programs
  • Trained / certified in various transformation methodologies and practices including Scaled Agile and PMP (or equivalent certified project/program management professional)
  • Well-versed in core program management competencies including scope management, budget management, stakeholder management, risk management, decision making, testing, and change management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, ability to communicate with influence and action at every level. Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience working with cross-functional teams to align thinking and ensure effective decision-making & communicate
  • Demonstrable experience influencing cross-functional leaders
  • Consistent record of leading programs effectively
  • BS/BA required; MBA a strong plus
  • Experience in SaaS businesses is helpful
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
  • Self-starter, ability to work independently
  • Fun, highly energetic personality; great team player that works well in collaborative situations
