As a member of the strategic leadership team for the function, the leader of Finance will play a key role in driving functional metrics, controlling costs, and work closely with the finance leadership, in order to achieve business goals and create shareholder value.\u003C/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EMAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES\u003C/strong\u003E\u003C/p\u003E\u003Cul\u003E\u003Cli\u003EStrategic Analysis/Problem Solving - Works to fully understand business; identify and implement process and organizational improvements.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EPlans and ensures execution of department objectives. Participates in preparation of the annual budget, reviews monthly expenditures and ensures that budgetary goals are met.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EReviews monthly metrics to ensure goals are met.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EConduct financial planning for function and make appropriate recommendations.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003ELeads, plans, and coordinates work teams in an efficient manner to effectively perform any financial function and activity; utilizes metrics to track performance and manage workload. Ensures operational processes and procedures are compliant and consist with established policies.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EDrive key functional financial metrics.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EProject Management- Develops and supports a strategic alliance with business partners.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EParticipates in cross-functional activities focused on solving business issues and enhancing our competitive advantage.\u003C/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EFacilitates cross-functional communication with other areas of the business including but not limited to Finance, Human Resources, Real Estate, Operations, and Information Systems.\u003C/li\u003E\u003C/ul\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003ENATURE AND SCOPE\u003C/strong\u003E\u003Cbr /\u003ETypically reports to a Sr Manager level \u003Cbr /\u003EThis position has no direct reports.\u003C/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS\u003C/strong\u003E\u003C/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EEnvironment: \u003Cbr /\u003ELocated in a comfortable indoor area.
