Join Fairfax Behavioral Health today and provide help, hope, and healing. We currently have an available opportunity for a Psychiatric Assessment Team (PAT) Evaluator in our Kirkland, Washington hospital.

As an active member of the Assessment & Referral team, the Psychiatric Assessment Team (PAT) Evaluator/Clinician conducts psychiatric assessments for patients in contracted ERs/facilities throughout King and Snohomish County, incoming new patients and Fairfax Hospital, and as requested.

Job Requirements


Education:Masters Degree or higher from an accredited program in social work, mental health or related behavioral field and or RN with MHP recognition.

Experience: A minimum of two (2) years direct clinical experience in a psychiatric or mental health setting, with direct experience in patient assessment, family dynamics, treatment planning, and communication with external review organizations. Experience with high intensity crisis work preferred.

Licensure: Washington State License required. LMHC, LMHCA, LCSW, LCSWA, PH.D. Psy.D or RN or equivalent licensure with MHP recognition.

Additional Requirements:Thorough knowledge of crisis intervention techniques. Thorough knowledge of the DSM-5. Current certifications in Handle With Care, Verbal De-Escalation, Healthcare Provider CPR & 1stAid are required. Demonstrable skill in assessing all age groups.

Fairfax also operates a 30-bed adult general psychiatric unit, located in Everett, WA on the seventh floor of the Providence Medical Centers Pacific campus.
