Public Affairs/ Patient Engagement Officer

**External communication**

Responsible for the management of a company's external communication and projects:

+ Coordinates media relations and prepares external communications, plane, prepares and relays information concerning the organization to the press and the wider community to gain understanding and acceptance for the organization

+ Executive varied and integrated communications products including website, print publications, newsletters, online communications, media and public relations

+ Participate on planning and active execution of key Public Affairs projects in cooperation with local agencies

+ Establish and maintain relationship and mutual communication with competent stakeholders, patient organizations and other organizations

+ Prepares communication of external events, monitoring media coverage, assembling media kits

+ Manage development and maintenance of the Pfizer corporate websites (e.g. www.pfizer.sk) and supervise suppliers administering website

+ Management and administration of external corporate sponsorship, educative grants, charity and donation

+ Oversee and control organization's branding through logo use and print materials

+ Manage approval of external communication

+ Develops and maintain media databases used to collect and analyze data

+ Track PA expenditures and maintain budget

+ Monitors and evaluate program operating policies and procedures and handles invoice processing, monitor success of stakeholder programs

+ Identify and implement opportunities for corporate social responsibility activities

**Patient Engagement**

+ Implement PFE Global Guidelines for Interactions with Patient Organizations

+ Advance the company's position with relevant associations, industry trade association, medical association and PAGs

+ Build or improve cooperation with patient advocacy groups, regulators, influencers and media

+ Define in cooperation with BUs stakeholder programs for each PAG and/or individual stakeholder with objectives, resources and KPIs

+ Facilitate communications between patient engagement and the appropriate medical affairs, commercial teams and other cross-functional colleagues as Single Point of Contact

+ Establish direct relationships with patient advocacy groups leaders and local stakeholders

+ Support the development of quality relationships with agreed new stakeholders and the establishment of solid/trustful relationships in the respective stakeholder areas

+ Lead, sponsor and organize stakeholder programs/materials, partnering with internal/external resources

+ Develop, partner and maintain a network of contacts relevant to stakeholder group

+ Represent Pfizer at AIFP meetings and/or participates on Working group: Communication & Patient Voice, EFPIA & Innovation

+ Closely collaborate on the development of public affairs activities related to the local market access strategy, coordination all related public affairs and patient campaigns processes with collaboration with representatives of relevant local institutional bodies (SUKL, MoH, etc.), manage lay public Vx campaign approval process with authorities

**Cross Functional Working (XFT)**

+ Contribute to the work of BU teams and collaborate across business to facilitate a cohesive approach to the PR campaigns, projects and patient related activities for all Pfizer products

+ Close co-operation with marketing department in brand related PR and patient programs

+ Attend and coordinate Pfizer representation at PAG events in collaboration with business units

+ Creates and implements activities of external communication

+ Active role in cross-functional teams in communication and access strategy preparation and implementation


+ University Degree

**Preferred Experience and Skills:**

+ Pharmaceutical industry experience (Sales, Marketing) - required

+ Experience with public affairs communication, PR campaigns and cooperation with patient organisation

+ Fluent in English : spoken and written

+ MS Windows and MS Office user skills

+ Strong interpersonal skills, as well as excellent verbal communication and presentation skills

+ Clear networking and alliance building capabilities with anability to influence others

+ Confidence and Commitment
