The Public & Labor Regional Vice President position is a critical growth role for the Public & Labor Segment, and Central Region.  This critical role will have direct selling responsibility for Labor & Trust in our target markets.  Additionally, the RVP will provide focused and dedicated management of the  dedicated Public Sector Sales VPs, and this individual will work closely with UHC Market leadership to drive strong growth and retention of UHC's Public & Labor customers, and supporting strong net growth of the business overall.

 

Sales leadership position responsible for achieving revenue and profitability objective for the Public Sector Segment in the Region. Responsible for the distribution of all the company's Products and Services. Develops annual region business plan to meet each of Public Sector health plan's membership, revenue and profitability objectives in the region.


If you are located in Ohio, Indiana or Kentucky, you will have the flexibility to telecommute* as you take on some tough challenges.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Designs and implements sales strategies for all products for the Labor & Trust markets in the  Central Region
  • Provides direction and support to the health plans to achieve regional goals
  • Implements the regions market sales process to support each health plan's business plans in the market segment and establishes management systems to monitor the sales process
  • Develops best practices and works to implement those based on local market conditions
  • Develops long - term strategic sales directions for the region and provides input for Public Sector markets
