With real-time information on how food, movement, stress, and sleep all impact glucose levels, Level2 helps people make small changes for big impact.

The Quality Engineer role combines a focus in software quality and testing as well as review and analysis of business requirements by ensuring adherence to quality standards and practices defined by our company, the Health Care Industry and Compliance. This position is heavily involved in developing and executing a multifaceted testing approach including functional/system testing, integration testing, service level testing via Ready API, end to end testing, exploratory testing and regression. We emphasize collaboration across multiple feature and support teams to deliver quality integrated products.

Responsibilities:
  • Design test plans, scenarios, maintain scripts and procedures based on business requirements

  • Perform functional, application and regression, to ensure that developed products meet design specifications and are within total quality management limits and standards.

  • Create, maintain, and execute automated test scripts, and clearly document defects

  • Maintain test suite on a regular basis for both manual and automation testing

  • Analyze requirements, perform ambiguity analysis to ensure that requirements meet design specifications and standards.

  • Identify and investigate issues found during testing, assist Software Engineers in troubleshooting and update test cases based on discovered defects.

  • Troubleshoot, debug, resolve product issues as they arise.
  • Maintain documentation of test results, analyze test results and recommend resolutions.

  • Collaborate with product development team to plan new features.

  • Participate in planning and grooming meeting
  • Work cross functionally to resolve complex problems.
  • Stay current with new technology trends.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent practical experience including a minimum of 2 years' experience in software testing
  • 1-year minimum experience in software quality automation and/or software engineering
  • 1 year minimum in web or service endpoint and data integrity testing.
  • Understanding of QA methodologies and a strong grasp on automation testing
  • Proficiency creating and executing test scripts in Selenium, WebdriverIO or similar automation tools
  • Able to write automated tests using a standard language such as C#, Java, JavaScript etc.
  • Experience with code configuration management tools like GitHub
  • Ability to write, maintain test cases in Gherkin style
  • Working knowledge of debugging and root cause analysis
  • You will be asked to perform this role in an office setting or other company location.
  • If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener. When in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are required to wear a mask in common areas, In addition, employees must comply with any state and local masking orders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient with test automation approaches and processes (tools/technology preferences include Cucumber, Docker, Git, CI/CD).
  • Knowledge of React.js, and Sapper is a plus.
  • Experience working with continuous integration tools to monitor test automation using Azure DevOps
  • Prior experience with Salesforce environment
  • Experience writing tests that exercise Cloud based/SaaS applications.
